Once a year, in August the dam get's flushed which will quckly and seriously raise the water level. It will be signalised at the entry of the rock slide gate. Also daily change of water level are possible.

Einmal im Jahr, im August, wird der Staudamm gespült, was zu einem schnellen und erheblichen Anstieg des Wasserstands führen kann. Dies wird am Eingang des Gesteinschiebers signalisiert. Auch tägliche Schwankungen des Wasserstands sind möglich.

From the car park 'Parkplatz Milimattu' head north into the Lotschental valey to the dam wall. When facing the dam wall, take the track on the left uphill toward the wooden shack marked 'Klettergarten.

Stay level with the wooden panel following blue paint spots up the valley for the easiest approach route arriving at the left side of the West sector. Descending to the track behind the dam wall also leads to the climbing area but the ground is subject to flooding and land slip and much more difficult/dangerous, the lower route joins at the middle of the West sector.

前往

From the bigger parking area @ 46.311339, 7.592234 to see a vinyard on the opposite side. On its left end a trail leads up the hill. Follow that trail up alonside the vinyard untill you reach the parking area just alongside the Zudannaz-Strasse. The approach leads from there up the hill southeast and short after it turns east. After a few minutes the terrain gets steeper and leads down (south). The crag is just on your right hand side (Dynamo). Some routes are marked on the rock.

You drive from Susten in direction of Salgesch. Either you park @ 46.31201449935026, 7.5935935366857255 (not much space, on the left side) or you use a bigger parking area @ 46.311339, 7.592234. To reach that area you drive on from the first parking spot along the "Zudannaz-Strasse" until you reach the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and then immediatly turn left and follow that road (there is one 90° right turn) to the parking spot (you pass a fish breeding).

A climbing spot in an awesome alpine setting with rather harder to very hard and long routes. One of the biggest sport climbing areas in the Wallis (Valais).

描述

Climbing spot at an altitude of about 1800m near a small lake (barrage de Zeuzier). Mostly cruxy and challenging routes. Sectors see lots of sun, shade in late afternoon. The cliff base is often steep and exposed and thus not suitable for kids.

Visitors should not drive past the dam, camping is forbidden in the area (source in French).

After Bovernier watch for a signpost "Bienvenue - Verbier / Gd. St-Bernard". There is a parking 500m after that on the right. From there, cross the road and the train track to find a path that climb up the forest. At the crossing, head right, then up.

From Martigny drive to the village of Chemin. At the end of the village take a sharp right turn into a small road called Le Côteau. Park near a small garage where the hiking trail for Vens starts. Follow the trail for 200m until you reach a path that descends on your right (marked with a cam). The path takes you to the ridge of the cliff. On the left side of the cliff there are fixed ropes to descend (again marked with a cam).

From Martigny drive to the village of Chemin-dessus. At the center of the village take a right turn into a small road to reach the ch. du Joueur (carriage road). A small park is just on the right after an old buildig. Follow the trail ESE and the signs. The parking lot is small! Favor carpooling (large free car park in Martigny Croix) or park in the old sector if it is full.

Even though you can drive up the steep road to Mayen Loton it is better to park on the road below and hike up as there are very few parking spots.

Driving on autoroute n°9 (Autoroute du Rhône) coming from Vaud and driving in the Montreux->Martigny direction, take the first exit after Balmaz. Turn right just after the entrance of the Western City park and drive Northwest until you hit the Route Cantonale. Drive past the waterfall and turn left just past a gas station with a large parking lot. Follow the bumpy road, avoid taking a left to the quarry and stop where the road changes into a trail. Parking space for 4 to 5 cars. Follow the trail and take a steep left leading up to the crag.

1h walking from Les Granges. Starting in Les Granges, you have to follow the path going to Marmites Glacières/Tête des Crêtes by going around a private property. At the intersection where Tête des Crêtes is to the right, you have to go straight to go down along a stream. You cross the stream with a fixed rope and then traverse 20min along fixed ropes. You can rappel once at a fixed double strand. One bit of the traverse is a bit exposed without a fixed rope.

You will first come to Rocky and a bit further to Bravo Lapp (if you can spot bolts on the path, you're 3m too far and have to go back and up).

Ce site de bloc propose une bonne diversité de cotation sur quelques dizaines de passages, principalement dans le sixième degré.

A quelques minutes de voiture de Martigny, ainsi qu'avec la possibilité de se parquer à quelques mètres du site, l'endroit est très facile d'accès. De plus, il est possible d'y accéder aisément en transports publics, l'arrêt "Les Fumeaux" se trouvant à 15 minutes à pied du site.

Le sol est généralement plat, rendant les chutes sûres et l'endroit agréable pour les familles.

• Sun: The crag is oriented north to north-west and in the forest. So it's mostly shady, with some sun spots at the late afternoon.

• With kids: At the approach is the Zauberwald, containing lots of things for kids to explore. The base at the crag is mostly flat with space to play and exploring the forest. This makes it very good with children.

In summer it gets very hot, so you can only climb in the morning, before the sun reaches the rock, especially in sector "Eiszapfen". In winter, when it's really cold, it can be nice and warm there.

You can park @ Brigerbad. From there you walk from the parking area in direction of the Brigerbad building. To your left is the bus stop. Behind it, a dirt road leads to the left (90° away from the Brigerbad building). You follow it for about 150m, then you turn right, cross a small wooden bridge and turn left after that immediately and follow the small stream. After the hedge there is a narrow opening in the fence that starts after the hedge. You walk along the fence (to the right of the fence, so you leave the bigger road and follow a narrow track, that is parallel to the bigger path). After fifty meters a small way leads up the hill to your right, you follow those tracks up (you have to open the fence). To reach sector "Vogeldreck" you follow the tracks more or less straight foward (it's meandering a little), ever upwards, until you reach the rock (2min). To reach sector "Eiszapfen" you take the path that branches off to the right (after 30-60s), follow it upwards. You reach the rock, the small path leads along the rock to your right until you find yourself in front of a fixed rope. You climb up along that rope, and voilà, your there .

From the Monte Leone restaurant, take the path to the north were as small lake is. From there, follow the blue dots (and arrows) painted in the rocks until you get close to the crag. There, you have to follow some rocks painted in blue that lead you through some scrambled rocks into the crag. From the restaurant, you should get to the crag in 10 or 15 minutes.

Coming from Italy, cross the Italian border from Domodossola. Go past the village of Gondo and park at the second bend. From there take the path that leads you to the obvious wall in front of the giant Pala di Gondo. Hike up to the Wiwanni hut from Ausserberg (bus station), or take a taxi up to Fuxtritt to shorten the approach considerably (only 1.5 h from Fuxtritt, but 4.5 h from Ausserberg).

From the hut, all climbs can be reached in 20-45 minutes.

准入问题

The rock is partly brittle. Some routes are nice and really have potential, but it seems, that it hasn't been visited a lot, so there's a lot of dust, vegetation and some loose rocks.

前往

Drive from Visp in direction of St. Niklaus. At the crossing to Kalpetran just BEFORE you drive down to Kalpetran (the road is shaped like an "H") you park the car (you have to back into the road). You cross the street to the other side, just opposite where you parked. There starts the hiking trail upwards parallel to the main road to St. Niklaus. You walk until you reach an orange plastic fence to your right (it's about 2 meters long, and is on the right side of the hiking trail). There is a cairn to the left and you follow the track upwards to the left of the main hiking trail. It's not been used a lot, so it's not a very clear track. You go upwards just to the left of a ditch and follow the track that leads to the rock. At some point you have leave the ditch and go left, there are red-yellow markings on the trees that lead you to the rock.

Remote crag for beginner and intermediate climbers. The approach is rather tedious but the view makes up for it.

准入问题

For smaller children not recommended. The way from the top of the ski slope to the seetalhorn pass is mostly rubble and not maintained.

前往

From Grächen (1619 AMSL) take the cable car to Hannigalp (2122 AMSL). From there, follow the ski slope up to the top (2864 AMSL); there is a former restaurant. This will take about 2h 30min. Lastly, make your way up to the seetalhorn pass (2974 AMSL). Descend a few meters on the other side to arrive at the crag. Alternatively, rent an E-Bike to make the approach much more enjoyable up to or just below the former restaurant.
