描述

The Ranch is a sun drenched paradise of technical slabby to vertical climbs. The walk is somewhat long, but you will be rewarded with a high concentration of quality climbs. From base of the Dog Walk keep the main cliffline on your left, passing Rainy Day Roof, Hidden Peaks, Town Square, and finally the SS Minnow areas to arrive at the Ranch. Alternatively remain on the upper rim trail and use the 3rd class descent into Hidden Peaks.

This route begins immediately in front of a large boulder and climbs the slabby route to the right of a large crack/chimney system. Try to avoid the temptation of the large positive holds out left and use downpressure and footwork to solve this one.

First route right of Brief Respite. It's a Frizzell route so find the hidden holds and don't forget your feet.

If you can do the start you can do this route, which is constantly thought-provoking and rewarding.

Thin holds down low lead to a interesting and unique finish in the runnel.

Walk down from Lasso the Vulture and spot the bolts on the blunt arete. A rollicking good pump fest. Not to be missed.

Apparently, people climb this right angling seam to the right of Condor for "fun" and it's a "classic". Be like them, not me morosely walking by this tryhard fest.

首攀: Jeff Frizzell, 2004

Just right of Thrill Jill and a conspicuous tree.

首攀: Jeff Frizzell, 2013

The slab just before a small hill to the right. Numerous huecos dot the lower portion. Not recommended for leaders breaking into the grade or people who lose their shit on bad feet. Amazingly fun if the temps are good.

首攀: Bill Ritchie, 2004

Short, but really fun.

Just right of Cowboy's and Crossdressers. Less sustained than it's partner in crime.

Sequential boulder problems will challenge your footwork, pocket pulling, and willingness to move dynamically before the mellow finish.
