攀登 in Mt. Shasta Area

Car to car fastest known time, car to car in 2:13:52 and the route cosmic wall soloed in 32:07

Great day out at 9 hours CTC. Bit of a slog, but stunning views from the summit. Looking forward to doing more technical routes in the future.

Typical historic crag climb - run out, scary old bolts, and crazy unprotectable traverse

Really fun technical slab, with just enough holds to get you to the top. Like playing a game of chess with the rock.

Sharp, but fun enough

Gina led. Thoughtful climbing at the grade. Sharp!

Excellent. The tube was really fun. Comfortable holds and lots of jugs on weird rock.

Sharp! Interesting crux. Watch for the loose block.

Fun, but top roping the face to the right was the real highlight. Mid 5.11 for a line up the right side of that slab?

Fun climb

With Gina. At the top, Gina led up the staircase, and we descend via slabs to the right. Very satisfying and accessible scramble to the top.

With Gina. Perfect weather. #5 cam was nice to have.

Great day! First lead of all pitches and two followers. Don't try to rap with two ropes, it will get caught when you try to pull the rope

Led first three pitches, Will led the rest One bolt was rusted broken at the third belay.

with Laura and Joel. Just as fun as it was in January. Now with more daylight, more climbers, and many wildflowers and hummingbirds.

with Laura and Joel. Warmup wall is wide and featured enough for at least two or three different toprope lines, all of them fun.

with Laura and Joel. Careful footwork and an eye for tricky placements will get you to the chains with a big smile on your face. Great fun.

A fantastic day in the mountains with Laura. 5 pitches; led every pitch. Some very long runouts and funky natural protection kept me from focusing too much on the view!

"I found Jesus!" Climbed with Jadian. Led P2 & P3. Fantastic route. Good jams, got in some big hexes. Started to snow just a little bit when we reached the 3rd anchor!

Fantastic climbing with good handjams, a couple of interesting mantles, and good pro. A cold wind picked up, the temperature dropped, and a snow storm rolled in that evening. Climbing in February! A rare window of opportunity.

Demands some interesting footwork and careful thinking. Good fun! Homemade hangers?
