Weavers Needle is the landmark of the Superstition Mountains. Its spire tops out at 4553 feet and dominates the skyline for miles around.
Climbing Weavers Needle is more a hike than a climb. That being said you still need some climbing equipment and experience to climb the 4 pitches to reach the summit and enjoy the outstanding views.
Weavers Needle is located in a National Forest, please check and follow the rules that apply.
From Phoenix head east on highway 60 and take a left to the Peralta Trailhead. From there hike on Peralta Trail for about 2 hours, until you reach Weavers Needle. There are cairns to your right, cross the river and hike up the steep terrain to the base between the 2 summits.
