Had hoped to do the extension today but another super warm sunny day so…. Not today.

Warmup repeat. It was dry…

Heartbreaker finish for the slightly shorter. Ruined the onsight thinking I could dyno. I’m much better at monos…

Sharp… very sharp. But the crag was the only one dry after all that rain

Much more enjoyable the second time. First time was still in the sun. I may have sworn a bit. Apologies to those who had to listen…

Warm up. In the semi sun. Toasty!

I’m pretty sure I’ve been on this before.

At this point we realized we should have had a rest day.. 😂. Repeat.

Bouldery start then a super balancy end. Good fun once you’ve unlocked your sequence

feeling very arthritic after all this rain. easy day to get the body used to climbing again.... ive been doing too much running...

Well, nothing else broke off and the kids have gone.

Hell yeah! Glad I worked out a better finish beta so I had plenty of gas to clip the anchor. Mega pump set in as I lowered off… and screaming fingertips from the cold.

Not so scary once you’ve been on it.

One move wonder. I should have paid more attention to my feet first time. Another dyno….

Warm up. It’s not a warm up… wigged out at the top crux above the bolt. It was fine. My head and fingers were not ready

First time with the bolts.

Definitely red point grades. First shot I spooged off the pocket. Second shot resorted to using a razor blade edge… I still have fingers though. The ground is mud and brambles with rocks sticking up. Sit start does not look appealing. Feels like a 7b start with a 5a middle to finish.

Still raining but as we could actually climb it… got on the sharp end. Feels a lot easier than our warm up.

Everywhere else was wet. This is slightly overhanging so still dry after yesterdays rain. Hard to onsight but, like all the warmups here… easy second shot.

Hard crux but it’s all there… when you find it. One sit on the first attempt.

Wet holds made this interesting. The rest of the crag was drier than last time except for a crucial near start hold. The crux was easier today… but the start was harder. And then, just when you think you have it, your foot slips off a wet hold. Took way longer than it should have.

Red point grading?? Hard to find the route and the holds. Much easier second shot.

Missed the slot first shot. Extended 4th draw. Didn’t like the idea of that fall.
