APPROACH:

4 hr From the village Pila take the chairlift of Chamole to the end at 2300m of altitude. From here take the track n.19c then n.19a to Chamole Pass (2600m) and down to Arbolle Hut. From here track n.14 and n.16 to the left (track n.16a) to the Carrel Pass (2907m) with the Bouivac (9 beds) and the ferrata starts at the back of the hut.

FERRATA:

3.00-4.00 hr (some exposed scrambling) to the peak of M. Emilius (3551m).

DESCENT:

4.00 hr on the Via Normale or South Route. Alpine gear.

APPROACH:

25 min From the town of Crocefieschi follow tracks with marks (empty yellow squares) to Rocche di Reopasso Crags then follow orange marks to beginning of ferrata.

FERRATA:

2.30 hr (4 separated sectors of Ferrata)

DESCENT:

1 hr F.I.E. track to town.

Nur zu zweit oder alleine Free Solo machbar! Bitte Helm tragen! Aufpassen das sich keine Kletterer unterhalb befinden!-----Zum Einstieg bis zum "oberen rechten Sektor" steigen. Von dort durch steile Abstiegsrinne gerade hoch zur großen, brüchigen, überhängenden Felswand. Von dort Oberhalb bleibend an sehr freigelegenen Band am Fels nach rechts zu aufeinander gestapelten Bäumen queren. Unterwegs gibt es Sträucher und brüchigen Fels als Griffe. An den aufeinander gestapelten Bäumen kurzes Drahtseil bis zum Absatz nehmen. Von dort direkt in der Mitte der steilen Ausstiegswand halten. Jedoch auch links und rechts umgehbar (D).

First athletic section followed by a long traverse section with suspension bridges. The two sections can be done separately.

Ferrata je obousměrná, tudíž tou samou cestou se i vracíte! Proto šetřete sílu i na cestu zpět! V půlce (na konci) je lavička na odpočinek, potud je obtížnost ferraty D, pokud vystoupáte i poslední převislý úsek ke zvonečku, obtížnost se vyšplhá na obtížnost E!

Ferrata is bi-directional, so you are returning the same way! So save your strength at the journey back! In the middle (at the end) there is a bench to rest, so is the difficulty of the ferrat D, if you climb the last overhanging section to the bell, the difficulty climbs to the difficulty E!

Nice long via ferrata above lake Bohinj. Only a steel cable, no pegs or any other help. Unfortunately only smaller parts are pure rock, otherwise also climbing on soil and through vegetation. But the views are incredible! Can be seen in three parts: First third is via ferrata (about C/D), with the probably often used exit down a scree field, then the second third, a scramble (with short parts UIAA 1) through a forest, less traveled. Then the last third, which is the second part of the via ferrata (about D/E). Beware of ticks and snakes! Aussichtsreicher Klettersteig mit wenigen harten Aufschwüngen und langen einfacheren Passagen. Die Länge ist jedoch nicht zu Unterschätzen. Der Notausstieg befindet sich knapp unterm Gipfel.

Schöner alpiner Klettersteig auf den Maldonkopf. Die lange abwechslungsreiche Route verläuft mit einer fantastischen Aussicht über griffiges Kalkgestein.
