攀登 of Bellbird Wall as Hang dog

Crux on the second pitch was a little too much for me. Fun route for my first multi. Especially finishing the exposed chimney of the 3rd pitch by the light of a head touch.

Troubles with pulling the rope down after the second abseil. Wasn't the join knot for the two ropes getting stuck as serious rope drag was still in place when the join reached us at the base. Led pitch's 1 and 2. Walked out from top of pitch 2 due to failing light.

Hands went numb from cold. Had to take a break on the hand traverse on P2.

Pitch 2 is quite pumpy.

P1 long and slabby, possibly with some loose rock. P2 delicate slab moves up to crux traverse along overhang on a mix of crimps and jugs, with poor feet. Rope drag extremely bad - take care with last face bolt before overhang. Easier finish once crack is reached. P3 chimneying then out into space on good holds. Spectacular views the whole way! Led P2, fell at overhang.

stressed out and tired dangling on the 18s overhang for an 1hr40, not my proudest moment, though the scenery was amazing.
