Thought this felt hard for an 18

The crux was still as hard as I remember at least this time I knew I was on a 21 and not an 18

Thought I’d have a go since anchors are right there and didnt feel too bad, would be an intimidating lead tho.

sent Dane up this as a warm up thinking it was the 18, sorry! looks like holds have broken off - going direct seems 23ish (21 is about accurate for going left to the flake through blank section)

Almost hit the ground when my nut blew, should've gone a bit further for the carrot.

The crux move is much harder than 17, with dangerous fall into deep horizontal brakes

Too cold, fingers not working!

Gave this fun little climb a crack! Just struggled to get up through a tricky little part 1/4 of the way up and fell. Got straight back on it and worked the moves with success!

Key holds have broken making it pretty hard! Had to lay off the arete.

Hard from the first bolt to the second on very thin and sharp holds. Wasted fingers didn't help. Rested until I managed to pull through, once the second bolt was clipped it was enjoyable and committing.

The thin section was horrendous on shredded fingers. Had to traverse out left and up as I couldn't figure out how to pull past it.

In the sun, quite pleasant, but hard work, especially when it's been years since you placed gear in sandstone

The 2cm deep rope-wear line in the rock at the top explains why all the small holds are now tiny crimpy SLOPERS. My onsight ended at the first bolt 1/2 way up, struggling with the sequence on the crimp slopers. The new guide says 22, but this is definately mid-grade 23. The gear at the bottom is there, but spaced. 2 distinct thin and tricky cruxes, but sustained 20ish otherwise.

Tough crimps straight up between carrots 1 and 2. Easier out right.

Took me a while to work the crux out because the holds are worn away. Nice new Brackets!
