First pitch is slab city. Second pitch was awesome, but I fell at the crux. The only tip I can give for the traverse is not to let your feet cut off the wall. Try to lock your feet in. Third pitch is scary AF but lots of great holds to end the climb on!

Sunset send with Justin. Tried to OS the first pitch and came unstuck. I would say this is 22 not worthy of a down grade. Pitch 2 is nails IMO Pitch 3 is at the grade but hella hard to climb when using a head torch haha can link Pitch 2 & 3 with a 60m and 20 draws.

Great day out! Some big rocks to knock down on the rap in. Great climbing in the shade, felt totally alone in the mountains and had time for all of us to lead a pitch and dial some techniques. Loved leading the 18, the slab, overhung crux to slab combo is hectic.

Had so much fun on this with Matt. His first ever multi and my first in the Bluies, on the first day of the new year. Epic! I lead all pitches and had a blast. Matt pumped out on the crux of the second and fell, but could still reach the rock, avoiding the need to prussic. First pitch was enjoyable and pretty consistent slabbing with one distinct crux section. Pitch two was also enjoyable, but less consistent, with the main bulge providing all the excitement and difficulty. The exposed start of pitch three was outstanding, particularly in the fading twilight, but otherwise very short and simple. Overall, it was a blast!

This was great! And since it was a cool morning, we thought of doing it while the sun was on the wall — that was a mistake, it got really hot! I guess it is December, should probably not do this in the sun in summer! Lovely place though, great views, a fun one move wonder in the crux of P2, and a short but sweet P3 with such a cool photo opportunity! I am logging as if I led P2 and P3, but François also led those, cause we were climbing in 3 and the first leader just pulled the first rope (2 single ropes) up so that the second could lead as well!

Interesting afternoon of cold and wind. Peatey potatoed it and went up the first pitch of the line to the left at 22 (no wonder it felt hard for a 16!). The second two pitches were awesome.

So I neglected to look at any approach info after the rapping instructions and ended up climbing the gr 22 first pitch of TND. No wonder it felt bloody hard for 16. By the next pitch we were back on track and loving life despite arctic conditions and climbing in jackets. Top chimney pitch is a rad exposed novelty, worth it for that few meters of climbing alone.

Troubles with pulling the rope down after the second abseil. Wasn't the join knot for the two ropes getting stuck as serious rope drag was still in place when the join reached us at the base. Led pitch's 1 and 2. Walked out from top of pitch 2 due to failing light.

Wasn't able to do the 3rd pitch as the light was fading (delays getting to the crag). Was able to walk off left (facing cliff) and bush bash up gully. First pitch has a very thin section. Second pitch has a few funky moves and 2 strenuous cruxes.

Awesome route with varied and interesting climbing. The 3rd pitch is the money pitch. Also a really enjoyable crux traverse on jugs on the 2nd pitch. I botched the sequence to lose the on sight. Would happily repeat.

Fun route with comfortable belay ledges and amazing views. Relaxing first abseil into empty air. First pitch is slabby with one or two thin sections. Second pitch was testing, especially the hand traverse with minimal feet. Third pitch is very fun. Awkwardly enjoyable exit from the cave, with a nice photo op showing the valley behind.

The first pitch is real long, all up to the anchors about 50m but fairly easy slap. Second pitch is a fun climb make sure the second has two prussiks, The final pitch is spectacular, it really is the money pitch! great big smiles all round coming up the head wall.

Terrific climb. Strong westerly winds badly effected narrow neck and boar's head, however Bellbird Wall quite protected. Pitch #2 & #3 are great fun with lots of exposure. For a quick outing consider skipping 49m pitch #1. The whole climb is really well protected.

The Crux moves around the hand traverse were really nice, and of course you're here for the roof chimney. The rest of it is less inspiring. As noted the second must carry prussics, we had to use them on this climb

Redeeming ourselves from the former epic we had on this. Not as good as i remember and kinda really tricky for the grade. That might be because i climbed the first and last pitch only wearing one shoe though. Who knows?! Thought the bolting was a bit weird on the middle pitch as it seemed to follow the blankest bits of rock?

Did a full-moon ascent, starting about 2am with great weather. First pitch is fairly pleasant climbing with good flow for the 40m. Second pitch has a cool traverse and nice swing on jugs. Took a mega whipper (15-20m) from near the top of this pitch due to being quite run out looking for the bolt and a rock breaking underneath me, and the rope drag pulling me off the wall. Fortunately didn't hit anything but pretty much had to climb the pitch again. 3rd pitch Vicky lead in her running shoes! :o

A truly beautiful climb! Definitely worth your while nice easy hauling on the first pitch, up a slightly thin section then up to a belay. The second pitch meanders a little and the slightly exposed hand traverse is pretty fun! Third pitch is easy (did it in hiking boots as my feet were sore) and provides a great photo op for the leader.

The abseil in is as epic as the climb itself. On the abseil, would suggest using the overhand knot to tie ropes rather than the fisherman's. Our rope nearly got stuck on the knot. The climb has everything one can ask for. Slab, overhang, traverse, crack, chimney. Epic adventure. No winds, perfect weather. The description on thecrag says that the second pitch is a 17, felt more like a solid 18.

A-MAZE-ING must get on this again. awesome climbing. not too exposed, great belay ledges. morning sun, out of the westerly winds. P1 - nice, long slab. cool blank portion about half way up adds a bit of spice even though the bolts are super close. tip* bring some extendable draws to cut rope drag P2 - $$$ pitch. i would say the whole pitch is fairly sustained with the definate crux near (before & after) the overhang section with some delicate climbing on the slab above. so fun!!!! P3 - pretty straight forward (easy) chimney traverse out onto headwall. jugs the rest of the way up. probably overgraded for a (15)

Awesome morning out! Rapped in just as the sun was rising and was out of the wind the whole climb. This climb has everything! Slab, arete, steep hand traverse, chimney and roof all packed into 100m. Will definitely get on this again.

Pitch 2 has a difficult roof portion with good jugs but not much in the way of feet, recommend having a mate (cheers Mitch!) you can call to drop you a rope because the only way out is up!

What a cracker of a climb, great exposure on the second and third pitch. Highly recommend doing this as practice for bunnies bucket. Definitely leave your anchor setup at the second rap to make the pulldown slightly easier.

nice little climb. after the rap in, we didn't walk 20m to the right and so were on pitch 1 of "the next doctor" (22) by mistake. luckily the anchor is shared by "bellbird wall" for start of pitch 2 so we rejoined. pitch 2: one bouldery move pitch 3: the best pitch, specifically the start, with some unique features and climbing. sadly it is over way too soon.
