攀登 in Right Man Buttress by Scott Godwin

Repeat lap. Felt pretty good.

Tried to go ground up but got completely shut down by the high step/rock over move at the crux. Aided through and had a few goes on top rope, but still couldn't manage it. Doable by reaching out left into Roxanne, but that seems like cheating.

First go on lead. Gets 24 on thesarvo, but having done it now 23 seems reasonable. Pretty solid though.

Clean TR solo

TR solo. Think I've worked it out but the bottom crux move still feels desperate.

Still hard.

Foot slipped on the layback at the bottom. Fell onto a good wire. Clean second go.

Pulled on a wire to avoid the finger amputating locks

Missed the hidden crux hold

Testing out the bung shoulder again. Not too bad.

Really annoyed at myself with this one. Who would have thought a 10m route could be so epic. The climbing is straightforward on incredibly secure but very painful finger amputating locks. The trouble is the weird inwardly flaring upper crack which is very hard to place gear in. A purple camalot is pretty critical, and I'd already placed it down lower. With all the faffing about climbing up, getting my fingers stuck, climbing down to retrieve gear and manky tipped out cams, I ended up sitting.
