攀登 in Stormcock Area

Definitely a step up from the other lower grade climbs at the crag. Tough little move to get off the ground onto the face of the block and an exciting traverse halfway up the climb to get to the arete.

Great fun first section - put yourself into 3D mode!

Fun beginning and end with a staircase in between the two.

BEWARE of huge loose blocks when climbing over the ledges higher up. Run out to the top of the leaning boulder then traverse right with high jugs and undercling then up to the bush and onwards. Not a grade 10.

Sam onsighted this. I had to follow and remove gear Bloody hard work. He owes me a beer.

Lost the onsight on this. I jammed so hard that my pinky is still numb

Clearly not a 10. Great bouldery start. Crux is the traverse (Grade 13 maybe?). Had severe issues with rope drag because of the start up the detatched block, the traverse, I fucked up the extensions and then we belayed a long way back from the edge. Maybe easier to do in two pitches? Might be due to difference in weight of lead and second.
