攀登 in The Great Wall having 攀爬攻略

Stuey! This felt like the one to have done if we do only get 1 day here. A mixed bag of styles, 2 crux pitches very different challenges, a whack traverse, a huge and completely unnecessary runout of the entire final pitch by death-wish-yim. Best moment was when the route crossed our fixed rap rope on the second pitch and yim, again wildly runout, finally fiddled some gear in and accidentally clipped the fixed line in.

First mini epic! Was benighted for First time ended up tension traversing to gully/fixed rope and Scrambling to the top to belay everyone out. Will be back to send for real asap!

Pretty wild tr solo, beautifully exposed

Chris preplaced gear on the first pitch when he rapped down as you could have some bad falls and hard to see the gear you're placing. Pitch 4 had a pretty challenging move right off the bat with less than perfect pro below you - I'm glad Chris lead this one.

top roped split into two pitches, clean to the big ledge. Dogged the upper pitches but uncertain if off route, a few pretty challenging moves. Made a bit harder by jumaring and hauling.

Great afternoon climbing. Onsight pitch 1,3,5 /2nd clean all other pitches. Pitches 1,4,5 were great. Rock was generally good but a little flakey.

Such a great afternoon out exploring more of Mt Stuart after only ever being to The Playground area. I thought we would finish this climb really quickly but it ended up taking us more than a few hours. It's a great route with nice rock and nice positioning/views over Townsville. The directions are clear and the gear is good too so it was a really nice outing all round. I thought the 1st and 4th pitches were a nice level of spicy for the grade. Swung leads, Liam did P1,3&5 and me P2&4.
