攀登 in Canmore having 攀爬攻略

Went down on 3rd burn today. Really enjoyed this route from the start. Quality.

No expectation burn just feeling out the moves.

Some improved beta got this down to 1 hang today.

Tough climbing on small feet, and very committing above the second bolt to the anchor! Don't fall!

Technical slab climbing for first two bolts, then a great relief as you traverse left up onto the ledge. 5.8 to the top.

Small feet and the occasional great ledge. Fresh anchor and fresh bolts. Heavily protected now.

First day outside for the season and a bit of a test for my finger. Held up ok which was a good sign. This was a fun route.

Leisurely approach, low avalanche danger and top rope friendly. Super fun!

First ice routes

Knocked off about 4 different routes varying from WI1 to the main waterfall. Good ice all around. Still early season

It was early season yet so precarious movements to try and not break the ice. Top section was good

Sharknado Direct (5.9). Swung leads with Jeff.

Fantastic route with some seriously aesthetic pitches.

Watched Jonnie and Eugene try this and the moves looked so good I had to try. Managed to do the boulder problem first go which was awesome and then had to do each sequence in isolation. Super cool climb. Will be great to try this properly next season.

Just one go after sending Death Stomp and could do all the moves. Finding rest seems like it could be difficult.

Sent 2nd go. I think this has been downgraded to 12a now which makes more sense to me than 12b. Missed the flash by getting tunnel vision for the right of the 2 slots. Nice flow when you know the moves then you have to watch the pump up high.

Hard tough body position, very tricky to heel with left and very hard to get feet on right, makes it a pump fest, loved the line, would come back for it in a second

Pretty stiff for 10d but I don't know limestone very well and could probably add a grade for some heinous bolt placements as well...

Five stars except for mediocre bolting.

Starting with swinging pitches but hanging belays hurt; changed it up to single swinging leads then back to double.

Amazing climbing, amazing movement.

Bit tricky in spots.

Fell once trying to clip a (in my opinion) poorly place bolt, also broke off a giant German Shepard sized hold and took another whip

other then that happy days loved the climbing fun onsighting super engaging!

Considering it’s been a hot minute since I’ve climbed outside I got flash pumped on first route of day that never went away. This was the last climb of day and it took everything I had to not let my blood red forearms explode off rock
