攀登 in Frankenjura Nord as Retreat by Simon

No power left and bailed.

Same as last time, the part between the 3rd and 4th bolt was quite hard for me. Tried it several times, had no power left and called it a day. The route looks so awesome

Tried it as a warmup, but couldn't commit to a move to the third bolt and retreated after several falls.

Tried this as the warmup, but struggled too much after clipping the first bolt. Retreated.

Managed to clip the second bolt, but could not make it to anchor, I had no power left. The crack drained me a lot. Probably easier with a better technique..

Took some really nice falls while trying to get up!

Tried leading this, placing a nut, a friend and a sling on my way to the first bolt. But I did not feel comfortable trusting my own placements and retreated.

First two quickdraws pre-clipped, so I could enjoy the start (which is quite polished). Enjoyed the way to the second bolt, lots of hand and underarm jamming. But I just couldn't make my way to the third bolt and retreated after several tries. Fantastic though!

Seconded it, fell while trying to get over the first bulge and couldn't get back into the route. But it looked so nice.

The lower part is still chossy. Couldn't get over the 2nd bolt and retreated.

Clipped the first bolt again, tried to go left, couldn't do it and retreated.

Too scared to do the last part to the anchor.

New bolts and stuff. Was too scared to get the 4th bolt, though.

Bulge of doom Gave up quite quickly

Should have looked into the guide, did not finish it to the anchor.

Not sure if this attempt is even worth logging, but I chickened out right at the beginning, because the first foot hold was so polished...

Start was way too hard for me.

No power left after trying too often to get past the crux. I should try this again some time!

Tried to lead it, but I had no power left to get over that bulge once more.

The moves to the anchor were to scary for me, didn't want to do it.

Not exactly my kind of warm up route.. Fell while trying to clip the last bolt, I was super pumped.

Got too scared in the middle.

It started to rain.

Could not make my way past the sling.

The start is very hard! Clipped the first bolt, but got too scared to go the second one and retreated.

I took too long (as usual) and got too pumped to make my way to the 3rd bolt. Tried several times and gave up.

Could not make my way to the 6th anchor. Holds are good but I could not find holds for my feet and got scared and pumped. Up to that point it was nice though.

Distance between the first and second bolt scared me way too much.
