攀登 in Al Cap

Infuriatingly close to onsighting... Fell two moves from the ring hitting the wrong part of a hold. Last day of the trip so will have to come back for this one. Great climbing the whole way!

First attempt had to grab most of the draws but did almost all the moves. 2nd attempt got to the crux clean, had a few goes but fingers and wrist feeling a bit tweaky, great moves

Great climb, definitely wasn't warmed up enough for the onsight attempt. Was surprisingly really cold. Fingers froze up and had to warm them on the second try. 3 attempt went well as was still fairly warm from the previous go, even with a bleeding finger

So close to onsight with little beans in the tank. Need to come back!

Simple yet enjoyable.

Good hold all the way up. Soft for 23, just long.

Spoogy conditions but kept it together on the 2nd burn of the day.

Tricky crux sequence, the rest us jugs

Amazing facey edges! Warmed up the fingers with a dog lap then sent.

Draws on and blew/brushed the holds dry for G. Climbing with a few kg of blower made things interesting

Very nearly got it putting the draws on using G's left beta at the crux.

Felt really fresh the whole way, stood on my feet well and got the send!

Played at the crux again for a while on very wet hands, think I just need to be fresh and commit, if that doesn't work I'll have to go left like G and Stas. Pretty disappointed since it's so close.

Fell and worked the crux

Same thing, crux feels so delicate, kept playing with feet and hand sequences as I got sweatier

G started to clean then didn't enjoy it so came down, I cleaned up a bit more and got up to the single ring halfway then just cleaned the draws off. Wasn't as dry/good as R.T.D

Clean until I stuffed up my hands just before the crux which was nice but gave some flash pump. Got through the crux with some new feet and loads of tension, then tried Georgie's way through the next bit and with my height it felt much better, linked the end of the climb together.

1 fall in the crux, changed another foot when I pulled back on and managed to go to the top from there, stoked with the progress by my 4th tie in. Top felt much less scary having done it a few times now. Rad climb

I think we were the first people to climb since winter, ripped off a hold just after clipping the first draw so no onsight, hang dogged my way up cleaning holds and trying to get a bit of chalk on the good stuff

Nice and easy when clean

Got to the fixed long draw after a lot of dogging, couldn't work out the next sequence.

G went and got the next draw on, I was able to work out some feet that worked for me and got through but in no way a link. Worked out the next sequence which felt even harder. Then spooged my way 1 draw at a time to the top whilst terrified.
