攀登 in Oceania as various tick types

Felt hard today even though I was hang dogging.

I should focus this and get it done but this style might not be me atm.

Super cool climb, happy to have tried and done all the moves. Second go worked the bottom trying to find some better rests, and linked from below the crux to the anchors, third go I linked from the ground to the crux, and butchered 2 of my fingers in the crux and ended up coming down. Super pumpy route, will need a few sessions to go.

Trying this after watching Andrew trying it for some time. Cool moves out of Crossroads to a nails dyno. Felt super hard to generate the right kind of power stay close to the wall and then catch the hold. My best effort I managed to slap the hold but no latch. Maybe one day for me

Mega. Best attempt clean to the crux and then 3 sits to the anchors. Nothing is too hard if you are tall

An absolutely incredible piece of rock. I wasn’t considering it for this season but jumped on to put a line down Barbed Wire Canoe and am now head over heels for The Trousers.

I’m counting both of today’s attempts because I used the rock behind. Tricky start esp for the first route of the day.

Really good route with one distinct crux, just need to get the feet to stick and I will have it 😂 side note, aber don't do a week of waterblasting and window cleaning your skin will fall off on this climb 😭😅.

Scary section between second and third bolt with ground fall potential.

Took a whip above second bolt and flipped upside down. Not sure what happened.

Managed all the moves, very fun route, need to get everything dialed but don't think it should take me too long!

Sad to not get this one. Did every move but strangely couldn’t get the fingers to sink into the 2nd last pocket. Very cool movement on awesome holds. Could be my favourite prob of White Rock send pending.

Got shut down on the first try. Could have done it the second time but foot slipped! Hold on left side broke just under the last bolt on the face, but doesn’t affect grade.

Had a play to figure out the moves. Feels doable fairly quickly. A bit silly, but what isn’t at this place!

Pumpy after not climbing for about a month. The moves are cool and takes a little to find in places.

Eugh. I feel awful. Sucks to be in Nowra feeling like this. Didn’t get any sleep cause I could barely breathe last night due to a blocked nose + deviated septum + enlarged tonsils. Can’t wait to get surgery. I’m hoping it’ll improve my sleep which should improve my climbing. Fingies crossed. Today is pretty much a write off though.

All moves done this session, including finding an alternate mantle so as to preserve my recovering left hammy. Too gassed to put it together by the end, will try to back soon while the moves are fresh in my head!
