Ascents of The Sacred Snakes of Tanahlot as Onsight

Climb 40 of 50. Lots of cruxy feeling sections. All the holds are there once you commit, but the bolt spacing makes for a rather sketchy feeling lead at times.

Second pitch was stellar. Bit hot at midday tho.

Each pitch has a distinct spicy section each. Top pitch has some beautiful climbing up thin columns. Super enjoyable! More of this please

Some interesting pockets. Missed out the first 10m due to moister. Fun climbing, keeps you on your toes finding the right holds.

Absolutely loved this. 20-30m of easy slab to get you in the grove, then pull through the bulge with some awesome pockets, and then the second pitch up the columns is awesome.

Cursing my way up this one due to sore calf muscles from running the day before... I forgot how tiring slab is on your calves! Good fun climbing none the less! Pitch 2 felt easier than pitch 1

Would be classic if there was a little less dirt. Great moves.

The first pitch is one of the best 19s in Queensland. And the second pitch doesn't let up either. Get on it!

I lead the first pitch (19). Jesse lead the second(20). Some really grim moments on little slanty ledges. And at the worst time a bolt decided to be to big for my plates. But other than that it was great.

Just a great climb with beautiful exposure, solid rock, great protection and all the moves in the book. Great stuff JJ! Lead the second pitch on 14/4 and first pitch on 3/5. Grade 19(1st), 20(2nd).

A very plesant outing up a big slab - gets a bit tricky in places.
