Probably could have onsighted this. Not hard, a bit of adventure climbing at the start with an awesome juggy finish. Still suffering effects of covid. Had one rest right before the anchors.
Didn't read the description before I went up, so trended left at the ledge as I followed the obvious chalk marks. Not sure if this counts as a proper onsight as it's very soft for a 22, so I suspect the proper tick involves straight up at the second last bolt.
Warming up. A great new climb! Avoiding the ledge a bit contrived, I think just a nice 21 is the call. Opportunities for overhung heel hooking at the top, nothing too hard with a few funky moves. Not hard to clean.
Pinkpoint flash. Thankfully Ollie extended the anchor so I didn't have the runout for the last move to the anchors. Might've done it the "easy" way but still soft even at 21 I think.
I expect some choss to fall down with more traffic but it's perfectly climbable as is.
Checking out this new route. Crux for me is above the second bolt - deadpoint for the rail. The rest is really nice. Good overhang at the end with positive holds
Second ascent. A bit stop start however covers a serious amount of steep terrain. Crux right at the chains. Will pair well with choc chip chai for a delicious morning warmup!
Flashed to the anchors then bottled it clipping the anchors and went for a ride. Bit wantery but enjoyably steep jugging up high, will clean with a bit of further traffic.
