23 | ★★ Dictator in a Deerstalker - with Sarah Doherty | 9m, 4 | ★★ Very Good | Fri 18th Dec 2015
Great punchy little number. Over very quick and likely soft for 23 but still good value.
19 | ★ Sloper for Saddam - with Sarah Doherty | 15m, 3 | ★★ Very Good | Fri 18th Dec 2015
As with most routes on this section, the features are great. Fairly solid start into jugs then the namesake sloper adds a bit a spice in the middle.
19 | ★ Lonely Thursday - with Sarah Doherty | 12m | ★★ Very Good | Fri 18th Dec 2015
Probably a tad more consistent than 'Sloper for Saddam'. Went very direct at the last bolt using a shallow pocket instead of heading a touch right. Nice to see some clip'n'lower anchors on this one too.
18 | ★ A Tale of Two Cities - with Luke | 12m, 7 | ★ Good | Mon 30th Dec 2013
Great little climb on some cool featured rock.

Awesome little climb. Such cool features for the grade.

Good finish to the day. Always an enjoyable climb.

Really quite enjoyed this; some fun movement and great holds.

Good but very short. Nice to be climbing in the Bluies again.

Blue Mountains Bells Line of Road & Chifley Rd The Dam Cliffs Mossy Wall
12 | ★ Jug City - with Sarah Doherty | 15m, 3 | ★★ Very Good | Fri 18th Dec 2015
Great features. Scrubbed it clean of cobwebs for Sarah and top-belayed her up. Quite run out for a beginner lead after the last bolt.
Blue Mountains Bells Line of Road & Chifley Rd The Dam Cliffs Wet Feet Area
17 | ★★ Wet Feet - with Matt Burt | 14m | ★★ Very Good | Sun 30th Dec 2018
Afternoon session for this route and a swim. Climb was pretty fun but over quickly, so not quite a classic. Definitely a must do for the area though. Matt did great on second, despite the pressure of not wanting to fall on the traverse and have to prussic up
Blue Mountains Bells Line of Road & Chifley Rd Bell Supercrag Duck Wall
22 | ★★ Daffy - with Duncan Steel † | 20m | ★★ Very Good | Mon 8th Jan 2018
Great climbing. Butchered the crux a little and flash pumped a bit, so spent a long time resting on the jugs just after it before realising there was a huge ledge just above me haha. I spent more time resting there thinking the finish was going to the be the main crux, but it turned out to be jugs. Very fun route, and a nice length. Would be classic if the ledge wasn't there.
21 | ★★ Duck Tits - with Duncan Steel † | 16m | ★★ Very Good | Mon 8th Jan 2018
Warming up. Pretty nice climbing with some interesting movement.
20 | ★ Duckling - with Duncan Steel † | 12m, 4 | ★ Good | Mon 8th Jan 2018
More warming up and getting gear on for Matt and Dad while they warmed up. Matt managed to onsight (!!) and Dad just missed out on the flash.
16 | ★ Rabbit Season, Duck Season - with Duncan Steel † | 12m, 7 | ★ Good | Mon 8th Jan 2018
Cleaning gear while Matt and Dad respectively flashed and onsighted Gosling. Not too bad. Lots of options and very short. Didn't do much to warm me up though. Matt onsighted and Dad flashed this for their first climb
Blue Mountains Bells Line of Road & Chifley Rd Bell Supercrag The Blowhole
16 | ★ Blow Dry - with Matthew Burt | 15m, 6 | ★ Good | Mon 7th Oct 2019
Another good one. Added more warmth to arms, and felt very solid for 16. Very tough start for the grade. Could easily see this being 17.
15 | ★ Clag - with Matthew Burt | 15m, 8 | ★ Good | Mon 7th Oct 2019
I really quite enjoyed this one. Good climbing for the grade, and pretty consistent too; built a nice warmth in the arms. On the hard end of 15, maybe 16.
16 | ★ Blow Me - with Matthew Burt | 16m, 9 | ★ Good | Sun 13th Oct 2019
Warming up. Pretty good value for the grade. Not as pumpy as the two routes to its left.
16 | ★ Kwik Grip - with Matthew Burt | 15m, 9 | ★ Good | Sun 13th Oct 2019
Warming up. Not much different than Blow Me.
19 | ★ Aquadhere - Extended - with Matthew Burt | 20m | ★★ Very Good | Mon 7th Oct 2019
This was really fun, though quite stop-start. I'd say Aquadhere get's its grade for the last move to it's chains, and I'd say the same of this extension.
17 | ★ Aquadhere - with Matthew Burt | 15m | ★ Good | Sun 13th Oct 2019
This and Clag are probably my two favourites out of the easy routes. Great features on this one, though it probably doesn't do much to warm me up.
20 | ★ Araldite - with Matthew Burt | 20m | ★ Good | Sun 13th Oct 2019
Found this a bit soft for the grade. Some nice moves and features though. Matt cruised the onsight.
22 | ★ Kiama - with Matthew Burt, Sammi | 20m | ★ Good | Mon 7th Oct 2019
After Sam's send. Ended up doing the crux the way I sequenced it from the ground, not how Sam climbed it, but that's likely due to being taller. Nice, punchy little crux, but it's over pretty quick. Like Blow Over, it turns to simple jugging for the rest of the route, though does climb through some cool featured rock.
22 | ★ Kiama - with Matthew Burt | 20m | ★ Good | Sun 13th Oct 2019
Straight after Araldite to get gear on for Matt. Felt strong on the crux and came down nice and warm.
22 | ★★ Blow - with Matthew Burt | 10m, 7 | ★★ Very Good | Mon 7th Oct 2019
Great climbing. Sequenced the start boulder really well, finding the holds quite a bit better than I expected. Headwall was good fun too, with some nice consistent movement...kind of a shame it doesn't keep going! I ended up doing the extension, but it adds nothing more than some extra metres.
24 | ★★ Body Blow - with Matthew Burt | 12m, 6 | ★★ Very Good | Sun 13th Oct 2019
Pretty chuffed to nab the onsight. Sequenced really well and found many of the holds to be much better than I was expecting. Crux was pretty darn fun, especially with numbed out hands; thankfully managed to rest just enough before it to pull through. Thanks for the permadraws; made it very easy to consume.
Blue Mountains Bells Line of Road & Chifley Rd Bell Supercrag Arrivals (Lower)
19 | ★ Belayer's Root - with Dad | 14m | ★ Good | Mon 8th Jan 2018
Cleaning gear. I quite enjoyed this one—some good technical movement up a slightly steep wall. Dad almost onsighted and Matt almost flashed—they both fell moving to the chains!! So good to see them working hard
22 | ★ Rocky Road - with Matthew Burt | 15m | Average | Sun 13th Oct 2019
Fun start that wasn't quite as "streno" as the route description led me to believe. Middle of the route was enjoyable, though the movement was a little repetitive. Finish was a tad confusing; big jugs up right or nails (not 22) holds direct through the bulge...obviously, I went via the jugs, but it felt a little off route given where the last bolt and anchors are positioned.
24 | ★★ Wet Paint - with Duncan | 16m, 6 | ★★ Very Good | Mon 8th Jan 2018
Definitely feeling the fatigue from so much climbing. Wasn't sure I'd get through the crux this time, or be able to fight the pump after, but managed to squeak it in by climbing efficiently. Happy to get it done. It's not a classic, but it is pretty good climbing.
21 | ★★ Jingle Bells - with Matthew Burt, Sammi | 15m | ★★ Very Good | Mon 7th Oct 2019
Good fun. Nice climbing up the flake to the start of the steepness, then it definitely turns on. A pretty fierce crux (for the grade) is followed by some steep jugging that could definitely see you getting some air time; I was working pretty hard against the pump and EOD fatigue.
Blue Mountains Bells Line of Road & Chifley Rd Bowens Creek Main Wall Left
20 | ★★ Kraut Pleaser | 15m, 6 | ★ Good | Thu 4th Jul 2013
Consistent and solid for the grade. A great little climb that builds a surprising pump.
22 | ★★ Shut the Gate | 15m | Thu 4th Jul 2013
Stiff start, then easy climbing to an interesting and committing finish on the arete. Loved the final moves.
Blue Mountains Mount Victoria Area Bardens Lookout Electric Blue Area
19 | ★★★ Electric Blue - with Matthew Burt | 35m, 7 | ★★★ Mega Classic | Thu 10th Oct 2019
Simply sensational. I enjoyed every second of this onsight; it's certainly become one of my favourite easy routes in the mountains. Movement was interesting, with the route following a nice wandering line of features up the wall. The final few meters round the small bulge and up to the ledge felt fantastic. Carrots are nicely spaced, helping to create a good sense of exposure while climbing, but it didn't ever feel dangerous to me (the first carrot is about 10m up, with seven in total, so the spacing is around 3.5m). The carrots themselves are a mix of broad-heads and "normal" ones; of the seven carrots, my bolt plates fit four, so I had to use wires on the other three. I found it very easy for 19, but the finish definitely has the ability to bring heartbreak to would-be ascensionists, so it deserves some respect.
Blue Mountains Mount Victoria Area Bardens Lookout Little Triggers Wall
17 | ★ Solvin Puzzle - with Matt Burt | 15m, 10 | ★ Good | Mon 31st Dec 2018
Wanted to check this one out to see if it was another good warm up option; wasn't for me. Quite techy in places given you're on the arete at times. The crux was quite distinct and though I definitely butchered a few sequences, it felt hard for the grade.
21 | ★★ Lady Stardust - with Matthew Burt | 21m, 6 | ★★ Very Good | Thu 10th Oct 2019
I really enjoyed this one, despite the burly start. Rest of the route felt a few grades easier than 21, but has some great sequences. Moving around the final arete felt pretty cool.
22 | ★★ Hang onto Yourself - with Matthew Burt | 20m | ★ Good | Thu 10th Oct 2019
Hands numbed out mid-crux but otherwise went okay. A little disappointed with how the simple the rest of the arete was to climb, was kind of hoping for something a little more engaging than simple jugging, but it's a cool position and a fun crux.
20 21 | ★★ Starman - with Matt Burt | 25m | ★★ Very Good | Sat 29th Dec 2018
Definitely soft for the grade as it's a one-move wonder. The rest is enjoyable jugging with nicely spaced bolts. Could be 20 unless you're short?
21 20 | ★★ Go Lotto - with Matt Burt | 22m, 7 | ★★ Very Good | Sat 29th Dec 2018
After Matt flashed on TR and Dad bailed from the crux, I went for another go to clean gear. I used Matt's beta this time and got through the crux (still hard!) and quickly romped up to the chains racing the sun. Definitely isn't easier than Starman.
20 | ★ Change Junkies - with Matthew Burt | 20m | ★ Good | Sat 5th Oct 2019
Nice to clean this one up from last trip. Quite enjoyable.
19 | ★★ Little Triggers - with Matt Burt | 25m | ★★★ Classic | Fri 5th Jan 2018
Straight after Monkey Girl. Superb climbing. Tough little start to enjoyable overlaps/breaks then great movement through the scoop. Really great value for the grade. Get's a classic in my book.
21 | ★★ Dr Do Little - with Matt Burt | 15m | ★ Good | Mon 31st Dec 2018
Didn't expect to get back on this but our ride was delayed so more climbing! This time I managed to get through, though it was still a hard move.
21 | ★★ Sound and Vision - with Matt Burt | 20m | ★★ Very Good | Fri 5th Jan 2018
Straight after Little Triggers. I almost dropped the crux, but just got through. Makes me feel like a beginner haha!
19 | ★★ Mike and Lorna go to Town - with Matt Burt | 25m, 6 | ★★ Very Good | Mon 31st Dec 2018
Fun, though the difficulties are over pretty quick.
19 | ★★ Mike and Lorna go to Town - with Matthew Burt | 25m, 6 | ★★ Very Good | Sat 5th Oct 2019
Quite good, but difficulties are short lived.
19 | ★★ Quirrell's Quarrell - with Matt Burt | 25m, 10 | ★★★ Classic | Fri 5th Jan 2018
Straight after Sound and Vision. So good! Loved the crux up top. Great climbing and another classic in my opinion, though perhaps not quite a consistent as Little Triggers. Matt and Dad top-roped it (I was too lazy to climb it again if they didn't get to the chains lol). Matt didn't quite pull the crux, but Dad got through it after a few goes. They're climbing so good!
19 | ★★ Quirrell's Quarrell - with Matt Burt | 25m, 10 | ★★★ Classic | Mon 31st Dec 2018
Repeat while waiting for other routes to free up. Probably the best line on the wall. Great climbing with a fun, engaging crux.
19 | ★★ Quirrell's Quarrell - with Matthew Burt | 25m, 10 | ★★★ Classic | Thu 10th Oct 2019
Repeat. Warming up. Fingers were numbing out this morning. Definitely one of the best on the wall.
17 | ★★ Hermione - with Matt Burt | 25m, 8 | ★★ Very Good | Thu 4th Jan 2018
More warming up straight after the others. Found this really enjoyable. Great climbing and my favourite of the three by far. Dad and Matt both flashed this too!
17 | ★★ Hermione - with Matt Burt | 25m, 8 | ★★ Very Good | Mon 31st Dec 2018
Warm up. Such nice jugging. I rate this as one of the best on the wall.

17 | ★★ Hermione - with Matt Burt | 25m, 8 | ★★ Very Good | Mon 31st Dec 2018
Our ride was on their way, but I wanted one more, so went up this for a "warm down". Pleasant end to a great morning of mileage.

17 | ★★ Hermione - with Matt Burt | 25m, 8 | ★★ Very Good | Sat 29th Dec 2018
I really enjoy this route. Great warm up with great holds the whole way. Cleaning after the others. Matt onsighted on lead, Dad onsighted on lead and Mum flashed on TR.
18 | ★★ Jolly Good Fellow - with Mum | 25m, 9 | ★ Good | Sat 29th Dec 2018
Not as good as some of the others, but a nice engaging crux. Think I went the hard way on the send, as it felt pretty stiff, but then worked out something better on the way down that felt more appropriate for the grade. Matt flashed on lead, Dad onsighted and Mum sent with only one fall on top-rope.
18 | ★★ Jolly Good Fellow (Happy New Year) - with Matt Burt | 25m, 9 | ★ Good | Mon 31st Dec 2018
Really enjoyed the middle section through the slightly overhanging black rock. Good fun.

16 | ★ Karinya - with Matt Burt | 25m, 7 | ★ Good | Thu 4th Jan 2018
Cleaning gear after Dad's onsight and Matt's flash. Better, and quite a bit tougher than 'The Arrow and the Song'.
15 | ★ The Arrow and the Song | 26m, 9 | Average | Tue 2nd Jul 2013
Gear on and TR setup for Sarah, but it was too cold and she didn't want to climb it. Luke cleaned it and we bailed for the sun at Shipley.
15 | ★ The Arrow and the Song - with Matt Burt | 26m, 9 | Average | Thu 4th Jan 2018
Cleaning gear after Matt's onsight and Dad's flash. Nice and long with a few sections that make you think.
17 | ★ Monkey Girl - with Matt Burt | 23m | ★ Good | Fri 5th Jan 2018
Cleaning gear. I'd say the direct start gets the 18 as per 2015 guide while traversing in gets a soft 17. Matt red-pointed after falling on the direct start and Dad flash.
Blue Mountains Mount Victoria Area Bardens Lookout Jean Genie Area
24 | ★ Cave Route - with Matt Burt | 10m, 4 | ★ Good | Fri 5th Jan 2018
Comfortable second shot. Could be a soft tick at the grade if you come out left at the start instead of direct, but it climbs great and doesn't feel off-line. [2]
24 | ★★ Goosebumps - with Matt Burt | 10m, 4 | ★★ Very Good | Thu 4th Jan 2018

18 | ★ Organic Donkey Milk Products Climb # 1 - with Matt Burt | 12m, 9 | ★ Good | Thu 4th Jan 2018
Soft for the grade, but pretty fun line. Heaps of metal on this one too, which broke up the climbing a bit, but would be great for someone pushing into the grade.
16 | ★★ Visions Fade - with Matt Burt | 12m, 7 | ★★ Very Good | Thu 4th Jan 2018
Cleaning gear after Matt's onsight attempt and Dad's flash. Great looking line with some pretty technical climbing and a fairly heady finish for a beginner area! Very solid for the grade; could well be 17 in some books.

Blue Mountains Mount Victoria Area Mount York Mezzaluna Area
17 | ★ Sardines (Unknown (2)) - with Matthew Burt | 12m, 4 | ★ Good | Sun 6th Oct 2019
Quite enjoyable. Enjoyed the opening moves, though feels very contrived to exclude the wall on the left of the crack.
15 | ★ Community Service - with Matthew Burt | 20m, 6 | ★ Good | Sun 6th Oct 2019
Also pretty enjoyable. More consistent than the first route with some decent movement for the grade.

19 | ★★ Tin Man - with Matthew Burt | 18m | ★ Good | Mon 14th Oct 2019
Warming up. Interesting crux for sure, but most of the climbing on this is long moves between good holds; don't really see why it gets two stars. Would be proper hard for shorties.
16 | ★★ Mezzaluna - with Matthew Burt | 25m, 8 | ★★★ Classic | Sun 6th Oct 2019
I can see why it's the classic on this wall. Great length and climbing for the grade. Fantastic.

22 | ★★ The Go Between - with Matthew Burt | 15m | ★★ Very Good | Mon 14th Oct 2019
Matt went to onsight Marooned but our bolt plates didn't fit the one carrot on this (sigh), and we didn't have any wires or slings. As such, he quested up this instead. Fun climbing on beautiful rock with some consistent crimping split by rests. Felt proper tired on this and had to milk every rest. Really good though and shame we weren't up for the others.

Blue Mountains Mount Victoria Area Boronia Point Ancient Mariner Buttress
14 | ★ Squashed Parrot - with Matt Burt | 18m | Don't Bother | Tue 2nd Jan 2018
Thrutchy and sandbagged start for a 14 then juggy climbing that isn't as interesting as it's neighbour. I'd honestly batman past the undercut and claim a 14 from there.
17 | ★ Creature Without a Brain - with Dad | 15m | ★ Good | Tue 2nd Jan 2018
Afternoon session at Boronia. I read the guide wrong and thought I was getting Matt and Dad on the 14. Suffice to say it looked tough for the grade, but Matt managed to onsight, and Dad flash, so it was pretty funny when we realised we'd done this one instead. Reasonably tough start, and a little spicy moving to the second bolt, then great jugs and cool iron stone features the rest of the way.
19 | ★ Ancient Mariner - with Matt Burt | 12m, 5 | ★★ Very Good | Tue 2nd Jan 2018
I thought this was great. Quite interesting through the scoop and a little pumpy by the time you pull round the top. The carrot route to the left, Albatross, seems a little squeezed in though and could probably have been an alternate finish instead of an "independent" line.

18 | ★★ Bellbird Wall - with Matt Burt | 100m, 16 | ★★ Very Good | Tue 1st Jan 2019
Had so much fun on this with Matt. His first ever multi and my first in the Bluies, on the first day of the new year. Epic! I lead all pitches and had a blast. Matt pumped out on the crux of the second and fell, but could still reach the rock, avoiding the need to prussic. First pitch was enjoyable and pretty consistent slabbing with one distinct crux section. Pitch two was also enjoyable, but less consistent, with the main bulge providing all the excitement and difficulty. The exposed start of pitch three was outstanding, particularly in the fading twilight, but otherwise very short and simple. Overall, it was a blast!

Cool little start to a tough mantle/long reach around the 3rd (I think). Had to work hard at the 4th as I didn't sight out the holds as well as I should have. Finish was also pretty touch and go as I was feeling pretty fatigued by this stage.

19 | ★ Anal Leakage - with Matt Burt | 15m, 6 | ★ Good | Sun 7th Jan 2018
Four routes in without a rest and this felt tough! Bouldery little start on this one (that I read very poorly and almost punted), but it gives way to pretty juggy climbing.

Harder crux than Butt Nuggets and Anal Leakage. Overall, I'd say its a soft but cruxy 19. Regardless, all these routes are great—thanks for the rebolt Heath Black. Seven pitches back-to-back before 11am and the 36° heat settled in. So good.

Classic in my book. Great climbing through some incredo-buckets with fantastic, airy bolting. Loved this one.

Fun jugging. I really do enjoy this one. Matt and Dad both flashed on TR.

More great climbing! Bit of a run out through easy ground in the middle, but everything you need and more is available. Could be soft for the grade, but who cares when it's this enjoyable.

Repeat. I always enjoy this one. Big holds and good exposure on this one. Had to battle the fatigue a bit though!

Also really enjoy this one. Doesn't feel much harder than Johnny's Jalopies, but it does have a good juggy runout, so perhaps deserves the extra grade for that. Matt and Dad both flashed on TR.

Interesting climbing and definitely a bit cruxier than the others. Still, all the harder bits are broken up by plenty of jugs.

Good fun with nice exposure. Wanders across the bolt line but always has jugs when you need them.

Great steep thuggery. Very happy to get the onsight. Felt strong and climbed fast. Awesome.

Very enjoyable. Almost wish I'd gone for the onsight, but the slab is pretty confusing with all the misleading chalk. Definitely happy to get the flash.

Squeaked this in with very little skin. Start was very sharp and more difficult than I expected. Crux was quite enjoyable.
