Ascents in The Gallery by Andrew Clark

To the sixth bolt and then off. No endurance after no real climbing for months, but managed to pull the moves of the ground which was a surprise.

Bolt to bolt warm up. Lowered below the lip.

Pulled through the first move, then to the anchors with a few sits. Left middle finger being troublesome.

Pulled through the first move, then to last bolt as moves past the lip make my finger hurt.

From the ground to the last bolt.

Off after the 4th bolt, lowered from the last.

Top rope to get the draws off.

Beta run.

Sit on 3rd bolt and 2nd last bolt.

Fell at the last bolt and ended up miles from the cliff. Lowered.

Figuring out the moves.

Now have an idea of what it'll take to put this all together.

Off moving up to the 5th bolt. Obviously a day of trackwork and following Gareth up a 22 and a 24 does not lead to me climbing my best.

Interesting getting off the ground. One very hard section that was interesting. Not sure fi I'm missing something or lacking some magic footwork.

Surprised I got the opening of this as my warm up for the day. Had to rest further up though.

Decided I didn't want to climb any higher with water dripping in my face and down climbed.

Clipped the 5th. Ran out of gas moving up to the left past the big right hand. Maybe next time? Find it really difficult to use consistent beta as there's so many pockets with so much chalk and most of them are rubbish.

2nd shot for the day. Got to the 5th bolt but couldn't clip. Fun fall.
