Ascents in Hat Hill Crag by Ben Jenga

Hoped to put this away today but not to be. Double draw at the crux but still couldn’t clip, pumped out. Put a triple and then forgot the sequence. Maybe again one day. Lower right toe than left up!

Just two moves really, hard but brief.

Almost pumped off the traverse and had to really hold on to the top. Not the best endurance at the moment.

Great route, couple tricky spots and lots of good jugs.

EOD try, up to the crux but with concern about falling onto the ledge below I stick clipped the crux bolt then fired the crux and free to the top. Didn't feel too bad at the grade but the pre crux bolt should be raised and shifted slightly to the left to avoid the ledge below.

Good to see Neil finished my vision from years ago. Under the roof was pretty weird first shot and mostly draw to draw on the headwall. Flowed much nicer second shot but with a bung right knee I couldn't do the second of the 3 big moves. Pulled straight through and keep pumping. Great fun.

Hard and demanding onsight, pretty intense from when you leave the deck. loved the twin 2 finger pockets.

Not too bad, some great holds after the tricky first couple bolts.

First shot in the blazing sun to access the top of the cliff, did it second shot to remove the draws. Needs a fair bit more traffic to clean up then it should be classic. Pumpy.
