Ascents in Isatis by Tobias Auth

Putting draws in. One hang at the hardish sloper clip position. Couldn't do the top crux. First route of the trip with good friction. Feels like climbing. Awesome.

Hopped on this because someone had a top rope in. Neat slab and very tough overhanging arête! Could not link many moves. Hard to figure out where to position yourself on the arête.

Resend/ #repeat 4 years after. Feels like a different route now. Classic!

Send!! First route of the day. Also put the QDs in. Hyped. — Seems to be quite condition dependant. My skin was quite worn but grip was good and even though I only warmed up with resistance bands, I could hold on to everything well. 6c to the resting point above the slopers. Then lock-off strength to reach the good crimp. Clipping next QD late from a sidepull pocket (maybe shoulder/ gaston). Then the friction foothold left around the arête to reach for the top holds. Actually ok as a warmup or 2nd route. #VVV

Crux holds felt worse than I remembered. Hard to get feet high while crimping everything out of these holds.

Very tricky! Good to get better at trusting your feet I guess.

Fun! Techy traverse, pumpy finish. Last moves felt a bit awkward. Pretty stiff as a warm-up. Only route for today because of rain.

Had a hang because I tried to stay left of the crack. Climbing it with the crack made it 3 star 6c/ 6c+. The first part is a nice techy slab. Psyched for the redpoint!

Awesome, varied, vertical climbing to a shallow arete with techy moves on small holds. Got to the upper crux while attempting the flash. Tried to do the long move off the two crimps as a dyno. Maybe it's possible to get my feet even higher after reaching the better crimp for the left to solve it with a static move.

Nice and long climb with pockets and slopers. One part where you need to plan ahead to not go into a dead end. #VVV
