Ascents of After the Gold Rush as trad

Finished on live rust after the ledge. Very good.

Sustain but really good climbing at the bottom, it flows really well if you figure out the small gear beta, the top piton is still rusty, didnt want to test it, that makes the top "no-fall" zone.

Difficult to find the start, should start right of the "belay tree" then traverse left around a small bulge to a small vertical crack that takes a small BD blue cams as 1st pro, crux at bottom with difficult positions to place gears ( small nuts, but bomber once placed). * DO NOT start going left to the ramp, run-out with no pro* . Piton at the dihedral is sketchy AF with potential big whipper on medium gear off a not-so-solid flake, use the 2 bolts going straight up as alternate finish ( also very fun moves).

Some great sections on this climb. Bottom needs some cleaning. Last few moves are quite a bit harder the the rest of the climb and protected by a rusty pin (could use a bolt here) For a more sustained climbing experience at about the same difficulty; climb directly up though the face on decent crimps instead of following the ramp left past the tree and climb the face left of the easy broken corner. Protection good until the last, hardest moves.
