Ascents of Extra G Connection as Attempt

The gaston just won't let me pass go.

First attempt at a redpoint. Felt good through the connection, but messed up the sequence higher up. So close!

Couldn't get it today. Although it was wet so that's a good excuse.

More tough going. That traverse is killer.

Couldn't quite manage the traverse, will have to smash it next time round

Gave it a few goes. Way too hard for me, desperate moves with poor foot placement basically just hoping for my feet to stick. You really need to know the beta for this I feel.

Gave it another whirly gig. Made it a tiny bit further than last time. Too hard for me. But it's nice to try. Gotta get my L foot higher to reach the L early crimp. This is so much about the feet.

Another attempt today and got a bit further than yesterday. Was able to get to and hold the undercling pinch thing and stand up on the R foot. R foot needs to be higher and I need to press upwards on the R hand to make this stick. Again, too hard for me, I need to be stronger but it's good to try hard (for me) moves.

Close to getting most of the moves. Have moved up to the traverse to Extra G but struggling to stick this section. Will be a very sustained line when it goes.

Felt okay until the pinch, it's terrible I can't imagine holding that. Might have to try something else ...
