Ascents of Special Forces as Hang dog

Trying the moves on toppy for shits and gigs and had loads of fun. Pulled through the extra long move to the pocket ant the start. Some very cool sequences to the top.

So good, but probably too hard for me this trip to be honest.

Mega line! Can imagine linking to the top in a couple of goes, can’t imagine ever doing the top on link. Defo whack on a right knee pad next week!

Absolutely nails, but also kinda possible.

Managed to do the top crux but still feels hard and insecure. Especially the feet are a bit sketchy (smearing, slopery foot transition). Should try a more efficient beta.

Got beta to go to anchor. Feels possible

Hard on fingers and smeary feet. Couldn't figure out moves to anchors so pulled through

Bummer. So much harder without the crux hold. I'll either get really strong or never get this now. The rest of it came together again quite quickly. X2

I never usually project something more than 2 days in a row but I was so close yesterday I thought for sure I would have it. alas there was no breeze and the humidity added a grade or two. my shoulder isn't as good as I was hoping so after 2 shots where I wasn't as calm as yesterday, I walked away. would rather have a shoulder than another tick.

waltzed up it to the last move, solid, not pumped, good conditions... and missed the pocket on the deadpoint.... so cruel. my shoulder suddenly flared up as I lowered down so no more goes today...

Focused on getting the lower crux sorted this time. A bit spoogy in the morning even though it is in the shade. Worked out all the moves.
