Ascents of The Swiss Route having Beta

Got pretty tired finishing the day on this, but good training for bigger things to come!

Great view at the top ledge helped warm up the eyes for a day of sublime exposure. The arete looks like a grand adventure..

Free soloed the first 3 bolts then aided the next 2 then free.Fun single pitch.

First pitch only as warmup. All RBs and FHs.

Great start and was a bit worried or say "scared as fv

A nice looking line with some good climbing but let down by rock quality. Linked pitch 1&2 together which was fine. Pitch 3 had quite a lot of scary rock on it and I climbed super careful not to break any off onto people below. Cool exposed moves just before the anchor.

Very exposed 16. Thin through the middle. Super weird anchor.

Very nice route. We were confused with the first (and only) bolt after the anchor,tm and thought it was one of the multi pitches from Bentrovarto Wall, so silly. One of the rocks broke ehile trying to find the 2nd bolt and I took a whypper of around 9-10 mts (I had only 6 mts of rope out). The quickdraw took most of the impact, it bented and it is not closing anymore. I must say that whoever bolted it did an amazing job, that bolt was bummer! We might put a tag next time we are around in case someone else makes the same mistake as I did.

A harder move than expected on the traverse and fairly short climb. Bit of a weird situation with the anchors.

Big whipper

This climb does not stay dry like many others around. Funky traverse to what I can only presume was the anchor, one U-bolt and a bit of re bar bolted in. Another bolt above. Not terrible climbing but unpleasant in the wet.

Short but fun.

Scary in the wet. Not too pleasant, and weird anchors.

The hell? It's all over the place and really not that much fun but I did get my Elvis on near the top. Not sure I really got to the anchor but lowered off single U bolt that seemed like the end. Awkward climb.

hard for a 16 ?

Funky little palm-press in the middle. Top rings make sense for the continuation, but make lowering-off to clean this pitch a bit more challenging.
