Ascents of Flip, Flop, Fly having Beta

Attempted this after jw led it, but not sure that made it any easier; from the point where I detached from the bolts at the start, it was pretty much a 10m slab walk that got increasingly steep/mossy towards the edge; and even though I was technically on the rope, given the bolt was across the chasm and how much length we had out, it wouldn't have been a fun fall.

Eventually worked my way down towards the edge, and while I could see a little ledge below the main slab that probably would have got me a little closer, I just couldn't trust my feet enough/get over the fear to actually attempt crossing it. After a fair while trying to push myself for it, I just ended up giving up as my legs/feet were killing me.

We had to rig a different anchor and then I climbed out on the rope as I had no energy/motivation left to try another climb to get off.

Cheated a bit, weighting the rope to get down to the big chasm, feel like the climb hasn't really started yet, since that is just a downclimb... so giving myself the onsight .

To get across I climbed very low down on some small edges over the side of the cliff, and then kicked my foot backwards until I reached the wall.. very easy climbing once establisted

lovely novelty as 3rd pitch pitch juveniles.

Gets a star for the dry mouth factor!
