Ascents in Ochsenstein

Some years ago, an additional first bolt was set (in agreement with the first ascensionist), but chopped off again by some unknown fanatic. We put a sling in the (now) first bolt to restore this situation. You can still take massive whippers on the way to the second bolt, but it's safe with an attentive belayer. Another good vertical climb with small pockets and crimps. Crux just before the second (last) bolt.

Varied classic. Nice dihedral and good holds to a ledge, then crux at the rusty peg before the anchor.

Good wall climbing on small pockets and crimps, very good to get "in the zone" for the routes further on the right.

Brilliant for those who like it (like me). Smooth moves over lots of small, defined crimps and pockets, with a lot of space between bolts.
