Ascents of Skiing Off A Convex Slope having Beta

Sent as the warm up after hanging the draws and brushing holds. Really fun movement, not sure if it deserves 26 points.

Day flash, super pleased with this one! Bit of runout for a scary finish.

Super cool, steep climbing. Was so close to getting this. Foot popped on last go after crux move.

26 in the newest guide book. Did all the moves and managed it in two parts, just kept messing up the iron cross move, then would do it straight after falling.

Redpoint 3rd go today. Took a big whipper right by the 4th bolt on the last hard move on my 2nd go. Favourite route in Payne's!

Upgraded to 26 after a hold broke at the start according to the guidebook.

All free with rests. Moves feeling pretty okay.

Such a good climb. Bouldery moves to a cruxy traverse. Don’t loose it at the top. I did a few times..!

5th go I think. Fun movement on good crimps the whole way. Came together quicker than I thought so may be the softer side of 25. Really great crux movement with shouldery movement and amazing jugs along the way. Should have sent on 4th attempt but botched the footwork above the last clipping jug.

Really nice movements on ergonomic holds. Felt soft for the grade but this may be because I veered to the right after 3rd bolt to a large jug, then up (as opposed to charging straight up and slightly to the left of 3rd bolt).

Powerful, sustained movement from the ground to the top. I worked this for a week back in 2010 but never got it clean, came back this year and sent first try!

Probably a grade difference between trying it on a cool dry day rather than a hot and humid day.

3 tries, the last one getting past the thin face section, going for the last jug. Buggered up my feet...

Fun long boulder problem in lower half, with face climbing above.

2 trips down the convex was enough... quiet a bit of anxiety on this, perhaps due to the exciting bolting! best route at the ford!
