Ascents in Third Kid

Onsight on natural pro. Cracks at the top are all full of dirt so the runout is sketchy.

Protection is pretty average, easy but spooky

Finished partner's incomplete lead. Significant rockfall with minor injuries and nearly cut the rope, so dangerous. Recommend stick-clipping the third bolt on the crux or it's dangerous. Top section has great climbing but the last clip is an old questionable thread and from there it's a significant runout to the anchor. A good climb but one of the most dangerous in DF for multiple reasons. Recommend belayer stays back from the wall in case of rockfall.

3rd bolt on the crux is a challenging move on lead. I cheated past it, by pulling on a tri-cam. Around the 4th/5th bolt I dislodged a sizable amount of loose rock. Consider this route dangerous. Proceed with caution

First clean ascent of this route! Even if it was only on second. This route has a tricky crux, which is often quite wet. I got the crux with a dynamic movement to high jug on thet left. This would be difficult for those with a shorter reach.

Chain anchors above the threaded static rope. Climbable only after prolong good weather.

Second clip has a confidence shaking fling to a jug indicated by red moss. Middle is a comfortable 5c up to the blank end with tiny footholds!

Thank goodness I don't have to do this route again.

3 cruxes. It's not a 6a, if devil's hand is 6B, believe me. And if Devil's hand is 6B, then Living water is 6B+. Everybody, try this climb and rate it away from 6a+ with me!

Getting kind of overgrown, the heave over the shelf now includes a lot of leaves in your face. Otherwise still a classic.

Took me a while to work out the moves lower down where it was a little wet, but got there in the end. Really nice route, Swee Chiow cleaned it up just the day before and was happy to see people on it again!

Managed to get 1 climb in before the rain ended things. The climb looks wet, but the important crux holds stay dry. The advertised grade is probably a bit stiff for shorter climbers. It's much nicer now the foliage has been cleared. Also tightened the hanger on the second bolt with Dave 's adjustable spanner.

Probably one of the best routes in Dairy Farm!

Classic route!! Lots of fun. First 6b Onsight at dairy farm

A mediocre route, spiced up by getting slightly lost, horrendous rope drag and lots of loose rock and soil.

Tried to trad it, but gave up halfway and used the bolts, the protection was horrendous.

Edging moves up the wall to a triangular handhold which is the crux of the route. Pretty sustained climbing the whole way. Good form crucial.

Edging moves up the first part to a slight right traverse to the right column. Easy climbing to a big ledge with a full hands-off rest. Crux sequence begins right after, with a right crimp into a reachy gaston move with half decent feet.
