Routes as sport in Gandia

Anchor looks dubious

The bolts are quite rusty.

The Alpi Gandia (AG) topo and the Costa Blanca 2020 (CB) guide show conflicting information here.

AG has Patxi Saez continue all the way to the second anchor for an overall grade of 5 whereas Pequeño Saltamontes ends at the first anchor (for 6a+).

CB shows Pequeño Saltamontes as a two pitch route with a grade of 6a+ for each of the pitches.

Traversar por encima del desplome hasta 'Blaniulius Gluttulatus'. Mucho arrastre de cuerda.

Traverse above the overhang until 'Blaniulius Gluttulatus'. Lots of rope drag.

A popular variant of 'Patxi Saez'. When exiting the tube continue straight up to finish on 'Coral bajilla'.

Maybe the most unique route in this crag. Squeeze yourself through a natural tube in the rock. When exiting the tube keep to your right.

Steep, strenuous and polished at the bottom through the crack. Despite some guides showing this route to go left, do keep right after the crack and join 'Pastor y porret' for a pumpy finish.

Cruxy. This might not be the easy warm-up you're looking for.

Friendly and entertaining climb

One of the crag classics and not a giveaway. The many ascents have not changed that.

Beautiful and powerful movements

The two bolts to the left of 'Pera' provide a different start variant into the same route.

Despite the good holds, this steep overhang is quite the pumper and certainly not a give-away.
