Grade Route

Excellent steep jugs to a hard lip turn and cruxy headwall. Permadraws through the deeper section of roof.

Start Enterprise but then head out through the shallower part of the roof.

Excellent steep, clean and devious crimping. Quite sequency and hard to read with a crux getting into and out of the left facing corner at the top, followed by a nice slab at the top which doesn't go on long enough. A classic of the area.

Good sport climb with some arete moves and an exciting roof pull. Some of the bolts above the roof don't seem like they are in the best spots.

Good sustained crimpy climbing for the first half into and easier finale. Probably not the warmup you're looking for.

Bouldery arete climbing before heading left from the arete to the anchors of Photon Torpedo.

A glorious extension to Mind Meld which originally and unreasonably diverted out to finish on the anchors of Photon Torpedo. This extension stays on the arete with sustained 11+ climbing up to a new anchor. A new classic, the crux is still the low bouldery arete sequence but is now followed by super fun exposed climbing up the headwall and arete.

FA: Patrick O'Donnell

Technical face crux up to the 4th bolt then sustained pumpy terrain up to the chains.

Either chimney up to the 3rd bolt (standard/original start) or fire off the .11c direct start into the pumpy upper wall. Head slightly left and then back right through a short overhang (the crux) to the highest anchors on the wall.

The route that splits off to the right at the 5th bolt is called the "Vulcan Variation" and checks in at .11d, but is not as classic.

This route is considered a gorge classic.

Same start as for Klingon but head up and left through the obvious roof. Big moves on good holds.

Great route for the grade and a decent warmup for the less steep terrain on the right wall of Dilithium.

Nice steep technical face climb that goes great with Extreme Caffeine just to the right of it.

This gorge classic has two cruxes: a bouldery start leads to a long, pumpy headwall that will stick with you 'till the anchors.

FA: Fred Berman & Marty Lewis

Climb a face with decent rock quality up to a seam that head sharply right for 2 bolts. The upper seam is what makes the climb memorable. Too bad it doesn't go on longer. The top right traverse is ultra classic terrain and justifies the okay but unmemorable climbing to get there.

A sustained route with fun, bouldery moves. Short and punchy on the far right end of Dilithium crag, just above the anchor.

FA: Tom Herbert
