Ascents in Shawangunks as Flash as trad

A few crux moves. P2 was a bit wet, and I went over the angled overhang instead of through it.

Pretty difficult. Wouldn't want to lead yet. We used the big ring for belay and rappel, but don't do that. Go higher and there is spot for gear anchor. Big cam isn't necessary, but is a good idea.

Tried the first move a few times without a rope, and Fran placed the first cam before bailing, but still counting as a flash. First few moves are very polished slippery glass feet.

Third trad lead. First lead of an entire route. No problems.

very proud of this send as I was tired/scared(crazy swing if I fell) and really found my "try hard"

A bit too short, but this was a lot of fun!

One pitch of slabby crack followed by a pitch of steep stuff with good holds!

Fun, varied vertical crack with plenty of gear placing stances.

Only the start is harder than Rhododendron. Otherwise, very fun!

Linked P1&2, went slightly off route on a 5.6 slab. Airy finish with good holds.

Very fun. Short and interesting first pitch led to a long, steep and juggy finish.

Surprisingly steep and airy for a 5.4. Fun and good gear.
