Grade Route Gear style Crag Quality Date
6b 7c Bottom Feeder (Bottom Feeder (to first anchor)) Sport 23m, 8 Railay Average Fri 27th Aug 2004
Thought it was harder than the 7a to the left! Huge sandbag. You have been warned.

7a Lom Mon Sport 29m, 13 Railay Classic Fri 27th Aug 2004
First 7a on-sight ever! Long, sustained climb with a hard crux.

6a+ 7a Circus Oz (Circus Oz p1 / Lord Of The Thais p1) Sport 120m, 41 Railay Classic Tue 31st Aug 2004
Thought it wa run-out, but realised on the way down i missed a bolt or 2. Had fun cleaning with a 50m rope.

6c Nut Cracker Sport 25m, 7 Railay Classic Fri 27th Aug 2004
Excellent climbing at the grade. 3 great sections.

6b 6c Mai Prue Sport 12m, 3 Railay Good Thu 19th Aug 2004
6C in my guidebook. But I on-sighted it pretty easily, so a bit soft at that grade.

6c Kratoy Sport 26m, 11 Railay Mega Classic Sat 14th Aug 2004
One of the best climbs I've done...anywhere. Superb varied climbing. Easy tick for the grade.

6b+ Pattica Samupade Sport 15m, 7 Railay Good Tue 17th Aug 2004
Interesting traverse. Led with the tide coming in around Carolyn's feet!

6b Bad Boy Sport 15m, 7 Railay Very Good Tue 17th Aug 2004
Interesting moves at the top makes this a sweating fight.

6b Massage Secrets Sport 37m, 13 Railay Classic Tue 24th Aug 2004
Probably the best of the easier climbs at 123.

6b Schlingel Max (Rod Yaak) Sport 15m, 6 Ton Sai Very Good Sun 22nd Aug 2004
Was Schlingle Max in my book. Hard crux up high.

6b Cowabungalow Sport 25m, 7 Ton Sai Very Good Mon 16th Aug 2004
Deserves more than 1 star - if only because your belayer is sitting in the pub.

6a+ Mekong Crazy (Mekhong Crazy) Sport 15m, 7 Railay Don't Bother Sat 14th Aug 2004
An oily mess at the bottom and top. Not sure where the oil comes from (maybe the boats?), but it makes the climb exciting.

6a+ Hello Christine Sport 20m, 7 Railay Very Good Fri 20th Aug 2004
Sustained climbing the whole way.

6a+ For Helga (For Hega) Sport 30m, 11 Ton Sai Good Mon 16th Aug 2004
First few bolts could be exciting if you are only just leading at this grade. The rest was great.

6a+ Sameboy Sport 12m, 5 Railay Good Mon 23rd Aug 2004
The start was a tad scary in the wet.

6a+ As Far as Siam Sport 15m, 5 Railay Very Good Sat 14th Aug 2004
Really great climb, although a tad polished in the middle (crux). Ooodles of bolts, but tough for the grade. Got launched off the 7a to the left of this climb.

6a Schlingal Moritz (Pahn Taalod) Sport 15m, 6 Ton Sai Very Good Mon 16th Aug 2004
I assume this is Schlingel Moritz. A nice warm-up. Very polished at the start.

6a Selee Sport 10m, 4 Railay Good Tue 24th Aug 2004
Another 123 climb where getting off the start is the crux.

6a Karaoke Sport 12m, 4 Railay Good Thu 19th Aug 2004
Warm-up (although who needs to warm-up here?).

6a A Man Can Tell a 1000 Lies Sport 15m, 4 Railay Very Good Fri 20th Aug 2004
Didn't look that great from the ground, but was a hidden treasure. Very 3d climbing up a chimney.

5 Short and Easy Sport 13m, 4 Railay Very Good Sat 14th Aug 2004
Like the name says....Very polished at the bottom.

7a+ Lal Bab Sport 14m, 5 Ton Sai Classic Sun 29th Aug 2004
My first 6a+ flash. Big moves on big holds.

7a Babes in Thailand Sport 12m, 5 Ton Sai Classic Thu 19th Aug 2004
Pulling up thru the roof on jugs (+ the odd crip or too thru the crux)

6b+ Missing Snow Sport 20m, 8 Ton Sai Very Good Mon 30th Aug 2004
Hot and sweaty!

6a+ 6b For You & For Me (For You and For Me) Sport 8m, 7 Ton Sai Don't Bother Mon 23rd Aug 2004
A horrible expedition thru a cave thing.

6b 6b+ Top Knot Sport 10m, 4 Railay Good Fri 27th Aug 2004
Short, with some nice moves.

6b+ White Hot Hernias (White Hot Hernia) Sport 16m, 7 Ton Sai Very Good Thu 26th Aug 2004
The book said this was hard for the grade. It was right....

6b+ Muay Thai (Muai Thai) Sport 15m, 5 Railay Average Tue 24th Aug 2004
I thrashed my way up this in very unimpressive style. Didn't like it at all.

6b+ Same Same, But Different Sport 20m, 7 Railay Very Good Fri 20th Aug 2004
Really hard boulder problem at the first bolt, then the rest is about 6a. Lovely climb.

7a+ 7a Don Quijote de la Mancha Sport 15m, 5 Ton Sai Very Good Wed 25th Aug 2004
Third attempt (after a rain interupted second). Great moves thru the crux section up high.

6c Viking in Heat (Vikings in Heat) Sport 20m, 7 Ton Sai Very Good Sun 29th Aug 2004
Second go. Pumpy crux. Great moves after that.

6c No Name (Name Unknown) Sport 15m, 5 Ton Sai Very Good Wed 25th Aug 2004
Second attempt. Deserves some stars. Continuously interesting climbing with a hard crux down low.

6b+ Idapaccayada Sport 12m, 6 Railay Good Fri 13th Aug 2004
A tough ending to a nice grade 5. Not that obvious where to go or what's "in" or "out".

6b Short and Savage Sport 8m, 2 Railay Very Good Fri 13th Aug 2004
Missed a vital hidden hold on the o/s and came down a smoldering mess.
