Super cool route to do on top rope. I wouldn't dare leading it on trad, the first good piece of gear is after the crux

Very fun route!

2nd shot. Exciting send in the summery temps. Glad I didn't attempt the onsight, as that start is diabolical! I think this is borderline X without tricams, but maybe only R with them? Alas, I had no tricams. I loved the oozy, slinky style.

2 short early morning sessions. I really liked this, but there was a single move I never did -Maybe I need crisp conditions to use the slopiest sloper that ever slopered? Beautiful, inspiring rock, and more sustained than I expected for a slab

First burn placing the gear... Second run 'scend... First 23 in a long time. Great belay from Sam!

Awesome boulder problem! First time on a 23 in a long time... It will go next season... Maybe .. Super fun working this with the Burnley crew and all the Pines fairies!

My current all time favourite route at Arapiles. One more TR shot to figure out the crux then sent on first RP attempt. Done in one pitch - solid 24 but no harder once you know how

Not 24. Harder (and better) than Have a Good Flight. Attempted in one pitch. Mega.

Got lost trying to do the direct finish and ended up in the middle of nowhere. The first pitch is an entertaining thrutch.

Glad I didn’t try for an onsight, don’t think I’m game, you’ll need to put marginal gear in pockets you need for hands.

Scary getting to the bolt! Deserves the R rating I think.

Dreamy. TR to warm up and get the gear back out of it after Swena’s heroic onsight attempt and then had a lovely time on the sharp end. One of the best routes at Araps, well protected, and not too hard for the grade by the standards around these parts. Single pitch (obviously).

Joyful. Taking out Lee’s gear, not that there was much of it.

Winner! Top roped to warm up and then had a go and thankfully that was the only one I needed. Lee followed me up and I tried to onsight the second pitch but got scared and jumped off before getting to the bolt. Did it pretty easily second go though just clipping the bolts and then some gear on the face after. Lee led the ‘third and most significant pitch’ though so maybe i can’t claim the tick after all. With routes like this it’s no wonder Tobin was a believer.

I think I went up three times on TR after my flash go, two of them clean. Thanks Chris for sorting out an anchor etc.

Had a pretty good go at flashing this but came off somewhere in the middle. Pretty pleased I tried it from the ground though.

Top rope rehearsal so if could have the courage to place gear on lead. Hard for the grade. Sent in single pitch

Tried the whole climb in one pitch, didn’t have strength high up! 😔

Did the 19 section well enough, then onto direct finish.

Clipped the bolt... Slipped off the reachy hold above it! Devo!

had a quick TR first

First pitch is as good as any arapiles slab around the grade. Second pitch is okay too

Fell off the the start, close to hitting the ground. Lovely climbing, just scary.

Could do all moves, just came off both times at crux. Climbed it to top from there. Would be very serious on lead.

Top roped and pre placed gear.... all 3 pieces... seemed a little too serious to go ground up, for me at least

Cool and complex climb.

First pitch reachy and slippery. Second pitch bouldery through the roof then very runout on perhaps grade 22? Safe in that you shouldn't hit anything...

One super hard move I doubt I could ever do.

25 all in one pitch. I've done a little direct finish, up from halfway along the traverse. It's slightly harder but cuts out some traversing.

Interesting and varied.

Now that I survived, it was quite out there. Seconded first pitch, so the run outs on the second didn't feel so bad

I liked this. Cool committing moves above the cams

P1: Flash, P2: Dog. Gave it a run while the gear was on. Great climbing! Lacked commitment on P2 and opted for a sit. Turns out the gear was mistakenly rigged for a super direct (and super hard) finish so had an exciting runout to the top!
