Tricky and powerful

Although the hardest stuff is over before halfway this is a great climb and you have to endure the pump the whole way.

First Arapiles 23 onsight

The first pitch. The top pitches previously done following Tourist Buttress.

The best slab line I’ve ever climbed. Stellar.

Bloody hell! Need new underpants.

Tricky and holds not always there when you need them. Plenty of rests.

Full value climbing and not for the faint at heart

First pitch only, very bouldery moves, pumpy and a bit run out. finished on Trojan

Fun and interesting climbing. Thought Kingdom Come was harder.

One pitch. Interesting but not great.

Failed to get the logistics right of getting helmet and gear through on the last pitch. Need to sling stuff. Definitely need a no 6 cam but a 5 and a couple of 4’s handy.

Quite a climb, burley for sure.

So good

Nice climbing but rock doesn’t look the best.

Very attractive flake with some great layback moves, shame it wasn’t even longer.

A little too easy to escape but good if you can strictly keep to the line

Tricky

Thin but fun

Enjoyed every minute even when all bunched up and snug in the curving crack.

There’s sometimes a fine line between 2 and 3 stars but a gem for sure, 3 stars in my book, great gear you could hang a herd of hippos on that route.

small throw required if you’re short, although not the strongest move it does require commitment and accuracy, great fun
