Ascents in Australia as various tick types as trad or sport by Matt Short

My first 24 and managed to get it onsight as well! Hauled myself onto the start and then made my way up the wall. I struggled just before the big ledge but managed to stay on. After a long rest on the ledge I made my way up the tecnical part of the wall just above the ledge and finished with a bit of a dynamic move to what luckly turned out to be a good hold. I was very happy to get to the top of this on very pumped.

My first 23 clean and I flashed it. Nice moves if not a little easy for 23 but I will take it.

Pretty happy to get this clean. Didn't find it as hard as I thought I might.

Really fun climb and quite pumpy down low, good thing that there are some good rest spots.

Nice climb, as others have said it is a hard start pitch especially with a heavy bag. The traverse pitch is the pick of the bunch. Overall a very good adventure. 7 hours car to car.

The crux reach was just a bit too much for my height, other than that it was a good route.

Got this second attempt today. Very happy to get this one clean.

Great route, had to fight to get to the anchors as my energy was quickly running out.

I really liked this climb. Bouldery moves up to the first bolt then and interesting mantle and through the roof and carry on up.

I was happy to get this route as I have looked at it a couple of times and thought I could get it. It may be a touch easy for the grade but I was still very pumped after the roof.

Very happy to get this first attempt and suprised that I still had energy left at the top.

This was a really nice climb with a few rests to stop you getting mega pumped.

Maybe a little easy for the grade but I will take it. Fun climbing all the way up.

What a great route with technical climbing on the arete. The bolts did feel a bit spaced.

Loved this climb, in particular the move into the crack is great with some good hand jams.

My first attempt at top rope soloing. I thought it would be a good one because of the nicly placed bolts at the top but I didn't think that this would actually put me on the variant finish at 22.

Managed to drag myself up and the system that I used seemed to work pretty well and safely although I can think of a few improvements to the system which I will try later. In hindsight I should probably have don Chocolate Coated Parents first before jumping on this.

Hard moves down low and then it gets easier towards the top.

Nice climb, tricky getting into the start of the second pitch.

Great climb, if I was a bit taller I am sure I could make the direct finish.

This route could be very good if the rock wasn't bad in several places. My partner pulled off quite a sizeable hold.

Just a quick run on top rope, still feels hard for 19.

This felt easy for a 21, nice moves.

Was quite reachy after the second bolt for me but once I worked out how to do it it was fine.

Really enjoyed this route. The cams in the breaks are good and the move from the first break to the second on crimps is pretty tricky. Well worth a climb.

Great climbing on huge holds. I found it easier than it looked from the ground.

Great Climb, hard start followed by nice sustained climbing to a rest and then up to the top. The last moves were pretty tricky too.

Nice climbing with a campus start. I found the move to the undercling the hardest.

This is an awesome climb with lots of interesting varied moves. Going through the roof was probably the best bit. Did as one long pitch.

I have always overlooked this climb but it turns out it is well worth doing.

Great climb, the crux was pretty reachy for me but I made it stick.

Not sure about the statement about it being desperate for 17. I found this fairly straight forward, just enough holds to make a great route.

Best route of the day, it has some great climbing and some thin sections but not where I thought they would be.

What an amazing arete to climb. I was glade to get this clean given how warm it was. It has some great moves at the crux on the arete.

Great fun adventure route for a sport route. A nice traverse with some harder moves at the end of it.

Simply one of the best 21s I have done in Sydney. This route had all kinds of different climbing and a really decent height to it.

The first moves up the short face took me a while to commit to as it was a really long reach for me to the good hold. The airy traverse and corner pedastal thing was great. Then there is the move off the pedastal which was hard for the grade and kept you honest. And just as you think it is finished someone decide to put in a couple more bolts meaning you have to escape from the cave.

If you go to Jol's Bridge do this climb!

Great climb, would be pretty hard if there wasn't a rest half way. The top section gets a bit thin in places, everything is just not quite as big as you would like it.
