Ascents in Megalong Valley Crags

Great climb. First pitch was harder than anticipated and the wind made everything feel cold and exposed. We had a bit of fun cleaning the third pitch as the second stayed on the belay, i thin kit's easiest to bring a second up and rap from the top. well worth doing

Awesome climb! Must do third pitch! Trail a second rope to rap down to top of first pitch from top of third pitch.

Didn't do pitch 3 because the others said it was crap

Awesome fun pulling through the rooflet on P3.

2 huggy, slabby pitches lead into an excellent, tough overhang on the 3rd pitch followed by a traverse out over the void to the top. Helmets are a must for anyone climbing or on the ground below (a lot of that hollow sounding rock is actually pretty hollow).

Nowhere near as good as "mr big" but might as well since in the area.

Pitch 1: tough first few moves for an 18. fortunately had read the comments and brought along a stick clip to pre-clip 2nd bolt (potential for ground fall after first clip). got the moves clean but would not want to do without the pre-clip. Pitch 2: ends in a cute small cave Pitch 3: crimps galore

Super fun one. Once we got round initial boulder problem it was all smooth sailing. We took a second rope and rap'd down from the top. Stella morning!!

Not the best as a single pitch.

Pretty cool little multi. We were there because half on the other multis were either on fire of closed for fires. Decided to skip the third pitch as the wind was almost blowing us off at the top of the second. Oh well. Fun to have a little rappell.

First Multipitch. Weren't quite up to the roof today as carrying some fatigue from previous day. Will be back.

Dropped the onsight as I had the wrong beta. Good climb through nice positions on good holds

Great moves. Funky, powerful. 23.

Though I was on the 23, I really liked the pocket boulder, looked harder then it was.

Good access pitch for the amazing extension above. I had to down climb and reassess the big move at the start. Commit and hold on for the sustained section above.

What a ride, biggest fight and best route I have done in ages. Got cooked in the corner, missed the good rest and pumped senseless up top. Worth visiting for this route alone.

Despite wet conditions and the arete running with water, this still managed to be a classic! Varied, technical, trad-y, and a little bit gripping. Really good all the way to the anchor!

Great climbing that rewards good body positions. Murderously pumpy for such a short route!
