Ascents of Hairy Horrace having Beta

Bumbled my way up this thinking it was 22, felt like a 22. Either way good fun and awfully pumpy

Flash, but not in the best style. I had the second bolt pre-clipped because I didn't want to break my leg on the first day of the trip After climbing it I realised it would have been just fine as it was the moves from 2nd to 3rd that form the crux.

Second go send. I can see this being impossible for short people with the first move. I could reach the jug but if you cant jump to it a batman ascent should still count? Felt easier than 23 to me but might be a height thing.

Technical climb at the start with those crimps, and then cruise at the top.

Pulled on a draw through the crimps to save the finger. Clean otherwise.

First 23 onsight, maybe soft if you’re tall?

Tricky and interesting until the third quickdraw, and then easy climbing to the top.

Jumped on this back in April and felt hard. Had to batman start, I don’t think you could do this being 5ft2 unless you have rockets under your feet. Bit of mincin on some crimps and it’s done.

Bit of redemption for yesterday's dog warm-up still felt very hard compared to my initial memories

Managed to untick what I remembered as a really easy onsight. Turns out it's quite crimpy as a warm up

Felt everything in my body warming up on this

Did think it was hard for 21, should really check where i am more carefully

Amazed I got this out, was just going up to try get the draws on for my belayer, managed to stuggle past the crux and kept on pumping. despite being a short climb i was totally pumped by the end.

Turned up in the dark and had a burn. Remembered beta after half a year

Quite good really. Deserves more stars and a lower grade imo. Maybe 23 if you get sucked left into the ugly crimp sequence.
