bit crumbly, a big foothold broke which sent me scraping down the slab. be sure not to use the chain anchors when rappeling back down unless you want your ropes to get stuck....

somehow i missed 3 carrot bolts on the first pitch and thought odly of the 15m runout, until mezz 2nded and noticed my navigational error.

Might not the easiest or friendliest way to get out of Heathcliff as per guide book. 2 10 40 Second Red mossy rock, some flakes can break, watch out for runoouts and don't miss bolts. Start and crux are the only grade 18 moves on this. Pretty soft, otherwise. A reasonable climb, but hardly the "mountains classic" I keep hearing it described as.

maybe a solo, but more like a half draw clipping solo, coz I'd clip the draw then climb above it & unclip it then climb to the next one to do it again & again till I was at the top. didnt mean on soloing it, just wasnt worth not...
