Ascents in Cottage Boulder as Onsight

Really genuinely great. A very pumpy warm up and a contender for the best steep 24 in the mountains! Classic!!

Nice extension to Abracadbra. Two good carrots lead to comfy ledge and double-bolt belay. Second pitch to top of boulder is slabby, sandy, easy but a little insecure climbing with run-outs. Might be better to rap off at the bolts and then collect you anchors by leading through on the entire line of Abracadabra... (With JB and Enmoore)

Beautiful crack for 20m with good gear. the top section of the crack is wide and will only take a BD#6 as all the horizontal features are fused. At about half height the crack ends and the angle eases to slab but it is about another 20m to the top absolutely no gear. Rusty carrot belay on top of boulder. Alternatively it may be possible to traverse right slightly at the top of the crack and do a tree belay, then short rap to the ground leaving some tat (though I haven't tried this)

Cool! had to try pretty hard for a few moves, and thought I was off at the top for sure. Essentially: 3 boulder problems of increasing difficulty, separated by good stances. The middle boulder proved particularly tough and committing with a curious complete lack of chalk on it.

Top 3 best 24s in the mtns!

Steep, pumpy. Felt like I'm in the gym. Who would expect such a climb in Piddo...

This is awesome - very pumpy. Just a shame you have to walk past a load of stinky trad climbers to get to it

Went to poke my head around the corner expecting to see another 20 meters of climbing as promised by the guide - just to see the anchors. Paddled back left and up Leanings again cause it's awesome

Take lots of BIG gear. Very runout (about 8m) at top regardless of gear

Boulder start(V1/2?) then 17... worth a look if in the area

The most un-piddo climb here.. Steep well bolted sports pumper. Loved it.

Whats a classic piddo day with out climbing in the rain, thinking you might die on the 10m+ runouts and having to bail off via bum sliding down at tree.. A climb to remember for sure..
