Hardddd. Climbed it in the drizzle before we were truly thwarted by the rain. Much more of a fight on this one than The Janicepts but that might have just been because I found it so much more intimidating. Probably my favourite of the Piddo cracks so far!!

Double ice cream day! Took my sweet time. Passed the diagonal fairly comfortably then was surprised to find a tough fist crack above. As I moved above each piece of gear my mind flashed to premonitions of a fall, my feet cut loose at some point during the struggle but my insecure jams held. Only pitch 1.

Stellar line, one of piddo's best cracks! Has carrots which appear to date from before the invention of SLCDs. These should be removed.

Awesome first pitch, protection everywhere and a good introduction to climbing with double ropes for anyone not used to it. The second pitch of Cardiac Arete is easy but it may be considered run out compared to the modern Blue Mountains standards. I forgot a quad anchor at the top of the second pitch (two carabiners and a 240cm sling). Anyone who returns it will be rewarded with beer (or another drink of choice).

Old school arete awesomeness. BD 0.4-#2 for well protected climbing to the bolt. No protection from the bolt at half height to the top, but other than the initial crux move the climbing eases off. No harder than skinless chicken, but more sustained and rewarding. A fitting end to the Piddo arete day.

With Cam. One of the Bluey's very best crack climbs! P1 is forgettable, but P2 is totally UN-forgettable in quality of rock, outrageousness of position, and awesomeness of climbing. Funky jamming, laybacking and stemming through improbably steep (at the grade) territory. A real shame about the old in-situ bash-in carrots.

Linked into the top pitch of Cardiac Arete for a single 50m pitch. Finally got around to climbing this crack! Good value for money at the grade, and very exciting if you don't bring any big cams. Quite sustained and technical for the grade.

Continuing up from Genesis as a single 50m pitch. Not bad delicate climbing despite some weird bolt positions, though the rock is a bit snappy. Makes a logical conclusion to Genesis, with no rope drag.

1st pitch was fun though the bush/tree at the top was a bit ugly. 2nd pitch is classic. One of the best corners i've ever climbed. Why are there bolts on this route!! I didnt clip a single one.
