Ascents in Ashes to Ashes Area having Beta

Could be a good climb but there's a hold that's obviously been ripped off mid-route and has changed the whole sequence. Might possibly be harder now. Still a cool climb.

Took a couple of 8-10 year olds on this. They needed a lift over the tricky ledge about 10 metres up. Rest is like the name says.

i climbed the crack. One move was alot harder than 4.

Coz's first Blue's climb and first multi-pitch ... and it's now considered grade 6

Not good for young kids as they are to short to get off the ledge. Its really only valuable for accessing Cinders, or to avoid walking out

All the climbing is at the start. The trees at the top aren't looking very healthy.

One punchy move to mantle, then easy pro following the crack. Lowered from the single bolt to avoid having to walk back down

the first mantle is definitely not 4 The rest maybe.

just a fun climb, watch out for flora and fauna (aka ants)

for the grade, some interesting move. Big gear helps a lot!

with a pack! i was a bit disappointed though because i couldnt go through the chimney thing with a pack on so i had to skirt it for a few metres onto the (harder) slab

Had a couple of shots. The top crux is pretty hard and probably a tad harder than A to A, but cool climbing and quite different.

Inspected and cleaned lowering off. Cool climbing!

got crossed up and fell of first move, but then went thru to top, excirting, esp last moves...!

1st shot today, thanks for the draws Ashy. 21/1/06 3 shots. Fell of the last hard move 2 times. Hard start to a rest then comes the dyno and then one last hard move at the end. It might feel better in cooler conditions.
