Pitch 1 only in the baking sun. Still took me 2 shots (today) to get it after I got lost below the crux on the first shot. Stunning climbing the whole way on great rock. This type of movement epitomises face climbing!

Punted off the last move on the warm up when I forgot where to put my foot (possibly because of last night’s wine) which was annoying, but then the hungover Ben Trovato sending blessing came through and I smashed it out no dramas next go. Such a great route!! (x2)

2nd redpoint shot today, 7th shot in total (and a few equipping laps). No particularly hard moves, but unrelenting from where it splits from Reigning Steel until you clip the anchors.

Sent easily 2nd shot today (it's amazing what some good conditions will do for you). Makes Kizashi substantially harder, and avoids the hideous crux on Sadomastication… Sure, it's a linkup, but its the best bits of both routes!

3rd shot. Probably 23 but for a brief (but extremely bouldery) crux. The moves are surprisingly good despite how strange the line looks, but the rock is generally pretty crap for this part of the world. Might be 25?

Actually finished slightly more right on exile , I think the only glued hold at the end that you could use come out, there is a sign of the glue on nothing. Anyway awesome route, maybe I bit soft for 26 with the other exit

2nd shot today. 3rd shot total. Pretty happy to get this one. Huge sentry-box roof to some bouldery moves, to a committing and desparate move to get your left foot on the wall, then 21/22 to the top (with 2 more hard bits). Don't even try and clip the crux draw, just keep climbing (you won't hit anything if you fall). I kept my promise to come back to this one, JengA.

2nd shot today (9th shot total, over about 2 years). Almost did it first shot today putting up the draws (and not remembering the moves) but balked a 1/2 move from the end-of-crux jug and jumped off. Went easily (and awesomely) 2nd shot. A stunning climb, unlike anything else in the Blueys. No Pronounced crux, just getting continuously harder, more technical and body-position dependent all the way to the 2nd last bolt, with a tough final heartbreaker move. One of my favourites.

3rd shot, and I had to work for it! Hmmm, hard to grade... Very hard 25, softish 26? Neil is right with "harder than Kizashi but easier than Sadomastication". Probably more sustained and strenuous than Sado, but -despite having 2 HARD moves- without Sado's particularly hard crux. Totally worthwhile and demanding thinness, with lots of funky sidepulls and very high feet.

Dogged the crux and the final move several times on the first shot. Sent it packing on the 2nd shot. This route is so different to anything else I've climbed here and has so many cool moves. My first blue mountains 25 as well.

2nd shot. First was a retro flash attempt, and I fell off with my fingers on the end-of-crux finger jug. With the beta refined, the 2nd shot felt tough but solid, and I'm happy to finally get around to ticking this obscure nemesis. Super-sustained techy face climbing leads to a substantially harder shut-down crux. I solved the crux with some tricky footwork that made it balancy, but not powerful. The challenge to working this route is the knowledge that you have to battle the bottom 18m again

Third shot today. Should probably have gone second but i cut loose and couldn't bring it back. Super fun moves all the way as well as the most epic knee bar ever!! Felt pretty smashed on the send (third day on) and screwed up my sequence dramatically through the crux but somehow held on for the ride. Perhaps a bit of a squishy grade.

Classic. I tried this once two years ago or so but only got to the crux. This time I spent an eternity up there figuring out the sequence on my first lap and then it went surprisingly easily on lap two. The moves themselves aren't that hard, it just all feels very improbable and like it wants to spit you off. Very happy to get this done and continue the send train after Harry's very impressive onsight of Guillotine. Another one off of the 2019 list.

2nd shot. Not a drop of chalk on this one, but probably very chalksight-able. Actually pretty good, certainly no worse than most of its neighbours. From the chossy ledge up (essentially after the first 5m) is all class, and reasonably sustained. Definitely deserves more traffic.

Really stoked on this, I forgot how fun this climb is! Always nice coming back to a climb after a while and seeing how much better it feels. This climb just seemed impossible for me when I first tried it, I pumped out so quickly and couldn't get the moves at the top of the elevator doors. This time the moves all went when I warmed up on it, and it all held together for the send go.

Got this on the second attempt for the day. Had the beta exactly right for the feet and worked perfectly with the double gaston move through the crux, then a bit of a throw up to the jug at the end of the sequence. Feet very nearly came off in the middle of the crux but managed to desperately stay on the route! Very happy not to have to come back for another attempt for a while!

One go hanging the drawers with one fall. All good second go with the downgraders on, for me the key was keening the knee in till full stablished on the holds then transferring to the left knee scum. But I was following an impressive flash form the couple who borrowed out drawers that didn't need either knee.

Didn’t give it enough juice to get to the back of the hold at the end of the crux first go. Could totally drop it post crux too! Second go, got through crux nicely but nearly came off afterwards trying different beta. Reeled it back in, did a mixture of my original beta and the different beta and just managed to hold on for the send. Super good.
