Ascents in Boya Quarry by Kym Campbell

OK warm up.

Was happy to have Marc's beta to get through the crux. Quite fun, particularly if you like to mantle.

The crack finish is where the action is. Technical and pumpy, but the sequence is logical.

Interesting, varied climbing. A really good route.

Not well protected. More nerve-racking than difficult. When you find the hold over the lip of the overhang the world is a cheery place once again.

Had my first fall on trad gear, which I'm actually really pleased to have out of the way now. Got back on and finished the job.

Nearly, but not quite, a crap climb. The rock over/mantle at the first bolt is the highlight.

Two good nut placements right where you need them. The climbing is straightforward enough.

Sequency through the crux, making the most of some unimpressive footholds is vital. Good, satisfying route.

Dogged the first attempt, got it on the second. Harder than it looks. One of Boya's better climbs, for sure.

I didn't enjoy this, and won't be coming back to it.

Fell at the mantle and lost the flash. Intimidating, technical, powerful and balancy, this is an excellent route.

Great route. Lots of fun moves.

Cool climb. Took a while to figure out the mantle finish.

there are hand holds everywhere you need one, but a couple are hard to find.

If I wasn't so pumped by the time I got to the mini roof, I might have made a less feeble attempt at it.
