felt extremely difficult and scary without big gear

Awesome line, steep climbing on sinker jams. Couldn't commit to the top-out without more pads

Quick last day play on TR, interesting to watch Malcolm cruise up.

Aided up to setup top rope anchor. Easy jams to half way then gets hard with thin hands and finger locks on steep sharp rock. Final climb of the trip so super stoked to get it clean on top rope.

Had a decent flash go, got all the gear in but slipped out of the top-out. Too pumped for another real attempt. This makes Witch looks like a very soft 17.

Will be back - 1*#1, 3#*2, a #3 or #4 for the top (think a sling and #1 for the anchor.)

Nice to come back for a smooth lead after seconding this once a year ago.

I have no idea what the technique is if this is actually a 16! Couldn't figure out the off width bit near the start

Bottom part felt quite stiff, I gotta train cracks more.

Balancy climbing

At first glance a burly finger crack that with some imagination becomes a delicate layback up ramp. Into nice easy jamming sequence to finish.

Had to top-rope - sketchy place to clip the second bolt from and with too much rope out it didn't look like it would be a nice landing.

Runout at the top but the climbing is easy from the last piece of gear.

Very good. NOTE - The home made aluminium fixed hangers on the top slab are dodgy as fuck. Aluminium (hangers) and stainless steel (bolts) will result in galvanic corrosion; plus aluminium doesn't have the tensile strength of steel and can become brittle with repeat stress loading - and there is stuff all metal at the bottom of the lower of the two hangers. This is definitely unsafe over the long term and the hangers need replacing.

Nice moves and at least a grade harder if you stay low under the third hanger and traverse the dyke to Flawed Vision, place the RPs, then finish up Flawed Vision.
