The climbing is a touch contrived at the bottom avoiding bridging to the wall immediately behind, but overall this was an enjoyable climb. The bolts on whole this wall though are so average, I wasn't willing to lead on them.

17 | ★★ Witch | 21m | ★★ Very Good
It went with ease, and I was baffled by how much I struggled with it previously. I felt a bit anti-climatic even.
Nevertheless, it is still a beautiful climb, with one of my most memorable jams involving jamming your entire right forearm into a hole behind the flake before the crux. Its like those in the movies where you stick your hand in to activate a hidden switch. |

Sent it really cleanly, though I did take a few minutes on the ledge before tackling the crux. I'm not sure what to think about the grade now, maybe 21 is reasonable. Admittedly, the last time I tried it, it was 35*C and this was the last climb of the day...
Also, it seems more bolts have sprouted within the last few weeks because I went up with five quickdraws, and ran out. I skipped the sixth bolt and had a nervous finish on the slab. |

23 | ★★ Bloodline — 3 attempts - with Campbell Davies | 20m, 4 | ★★ Very Good
Very bouldery. The crux seemed to be between the first two bolts which I believe requires big moves on terrible holds, though it's also very desperate, albeit physically easier, to get to the third bolt as well. Additionally, I'm not sure it actually was, but it felt run out between the second bolt and third bolt, which added to the spice of my terrified throw for the jug at the third bolt. The climb finishes on an interesting thrutchy chimney after the fourth bolt, through the moss, which was a bit unexpected, but very welcome.
In the end, I couldn't do the moves between the first and second bolt after quite a few tries and a variety of betas, so I ended up skipping through it by hauling on the rope. I did everything else clean. It would probably be recommended to stick clip the first and second bolts, since the crux is before the second bolt. |

Really had to turn on the try-hard to get through the spooky crux on this one. Spend a lot of time at the bottom of the crux not being able to figure out the moves and contemplating a retreat. Eventually I committed to a hard move on a sweaty hand jam, followed by sequence of loud grunts and swear words. Was pretty close to peeling off the wall at one point but managed to summon that last bit of send power needed to defeat the Witch. |
