A long way, we did it to half way up Dove for Arocknaphobia. Some interesting sections including standing on Dave's shoulders at one point. Is that counted as aid? Would be classic with light packs, 5 tennies and cooler weather.

Quite hard for 18. Great range of styles and crack widths, though quite crumbly. Hadn’t read the updated description about a #5, as my #4 disappeared into the distance at the top

Seconding Dave. Windy with rain squalls. First pitch contrived. Found the bottom of the top pitch the crux ( took 3 attempts to get through) then went to top. First pitch is contrived.

Alt with Dave 3.5 hours car to car, necessary because we didn’t get there until after 3 pm. Pleasant climbing, great location. Might scrape in at 5.8 at Squamish or elsewhere ie mostly grade 15/16

Great day out, though took us a while to find start.

Led 1,3,5. Nails moves on pitch 1. Major calf pump and then very thin overlap. Kept going back to hands free rest and did it clean about 6th go. Rest of climb straightforward. Walk in on a hot day was epic. About 8 hour round trip and a lot of slabs.

Tried more layback on first go which was possible but very strenuous and then more conventional jamming second go. Nice to be back on rock after 3 weeks off.

Probably fine, I just felt like I was going to slip off

Even the grade 12s feel unforgiving in the soapy rock

Another sentry box to escape. The wind changed and the spooge factor declined back to 100

rather wet under roof

Rpt. My wrist is getting worse rather than better, could barely undercling or jam and it hurt abseiling-off to the physio.

The start was super wide hands and overhung, did some crazy heel hook mantle to get onto route

Pretty tricky delicate slabbing, would feel impossible if spoogy. A bit of brushing helped a lot.

More a high ball boulder, felt 3 grades easier than Tetragrammaton!

Caused a few red spots on the tips. Nice change to jamming

Went up and down the start about 10 times. Sustained and good and no jamming, yay!

Had checked out gear placements abseiling down. Plenty of them.

Spooge factor 100.

The start isn’t that hard

A series of technical slab moves between good rests. Nice to have the draws on. Went up inside chimney to start.

The exit up our abseil rope after getting hit by a big wave. Would be an exciting last few moves on lead.

The traverse was less daunting than it appeared, some awkward positions.
