Quite a journey - certainly to get plenty of heckling from the water. Surprisingly sustained technical traversing (very little boring ledge shuffling) with the occasional tricky move to keep you focused. Monstrous jump from the top.

I think we were trying this. Inspired by the recent Simon Carter picture of Jason Piper on the undercut shield, we gave it a shot. It's nails. Simply nails. And apparently there is an even harder move gaining the slab above...

Didn't really remember how this goes after 4 years, seems like some key holds were wet.

x 2. Very wet, and very chalk-less. I really enjoyed this, mostly because its quite unlike any other DWS experience, and quite a bit Trad. The start was a bit wet and muddy, but when the hard climbing actually began the rock was bullet-hard, clean and beautifully sculptured. Nice technical finale with some improbable fingerlocks.

Awesome! The shared start is technically tricky and getting a bit tedious, but the finale is incredibly steep and campus-y. My showboating campusing made the final mantle about as desperate as it comes.

Fell off at the end of the final (high) traverse... Couldn't hold the sloper dish wet and chalk-less. The end of a massive linkup, starting via The Fishing Line, reverse the traverse of Pican Passage, gain the cave of Aquarius, then traverse all the way back left via Not Waving, Drowing. Pretty rad moves, and quite committing.

Repeat (3rd time on this on my 3rd trip here). Technical, insecure, and very strange climbing for a DWS route. A few sections on the traverse are exciting when you're tall. Brilliant rock!

Repeat. Really cool! This time none of the moves felt as hard or committing as they did last time, SOLELY because I knew what to expect and that I COULD do them without dying. The crux mantle even felt good. Very varied climbing with ledges to rest and get your head back in gear. Stopped for a one-hand hang and chalk-up mid-campus traverse with 15m or air below me. Exhilarating.

Great route. Not pumpy, just technical. The traverse under the roof reminded me of the Spartan at Piddo.

Felt as if I was headed for the hangman in that cave before the final headwall moves. Committing to say the least.

I genuinely enjoyed this climb! Felt far less committing than the other routes I tried and had some weird and techy climbing throughout.

Absolutely terrifying sitting in that cave up the top before pulling the final committing moves. Snapped a hold off the final cave as i was coming out of it, almost followed it down to the water. Had to sit in the cave for another 20min just to reevaluate my life decisions. You would not want to fall from the top out . Started up Aquarius. What a journey!

Great introduction to the crag 4 of us climbing it and chilling out in the caves. Committing top out and a spicy mantle at 15m to keep things interesting! Classic!

Very pleasant outing across the major weakness of the wall. Nothing too hard, just a bit techy in places. 5 of us climbing it at the same time.

The dyno at the top is one of the coolest DWS moves I have ever done. Climbed via a different start and topped out to the very top for the BIG jump. 22m jump, don't look down.

Did this last time I was here left and right. Pretty easy considering how hard some of the wall climbing feels. Only really a couple of hard moves around a two finger pocket. Sweet section on rad underclings.

The most unlikely slab traverse along the middle of the wall under the big roof. Never that pumpy but committing and tricky in spots. Cramped if your 6 foot plus but the extra height helps at the end of the traverse. DWS tapain.

Loving this super wall of walls, such a unique feature of good steep climbing on mainly bomber rock with plenty of spots and ledges so you can freak out about how to get down. Climbed to the start of the slab then jumped, too scared to top out again.
