Ascents in Fortescue Bay Crag having Beta

Had a gret time on this, it needed a lot of exfoliating, a spicy onsight for sure.

Sean sent me up this one for my first climb outside post surgery. I got to the same place he'd bailed from, realised that I didn't have it in me and bailed as well. Maybe next time.

Really good, albeit a bit sandy. First time back on real rock in 5 months.

Awesome little route. Messed up the sequence moving back into the crack from the flake. Will definitely be back.

Got there on dusk optimistic about how much time we had. Chris L rocked it, I wasn't feeling the love, cold numb climbing with my pack on flailing badly in the dark.

Nice thin jam line with the occasional face hold...finish via easy slab. Correct line?? Or this be Ryme? Not sure...

I think this is the one we did..?? Any input on the added topo would be useful. Up with nice hand jams into awkward cut away. Bit dusty and seepy, but some really funky features along the way, plus a solid undercling for gear up high.

Great lead. My second pulled off a large chunk of rock, though, which nearly obliterated our rope! Crag doesn't see much traffic....

deserves a star, fun but easy middle section

flaring handcrack to start, variant finish: more direct but dodgy rock
